The shoe features black, orange, and royal color blocking with premium leathers and a 0.44 stickey rubber outsole. Comes packaged with a large Nike NYC patch. This shoe drops tomorrow, November 25, 2009 at 21 Mercer in NYC. DJ Clark Kent will be spinning. Food and drink will be served. 8-10pm.

Starks and Clark Kent were challenged by Nike Sportswear’s Design Director Jesse Leyva to collaborate and create a pack that pays homage to the spirit of competitive sport and this year’s host city – Phoenix, Arizona.

Starks initiates the design partnership by creating reflective and patterned lace packs, contrasting metal anglets, engraved Dubraes, and East/West branded insoles to represent the rivalries. “The Arizona desert was our main inspiration so we used oxidized copper on the anglets and dubraes to get that rustic worn out feel like they were sitting under the hot Arizona sun for years” says Starks.

With the Phoenix Suns team colors in mind, Clark Kent’s unique touch brings premium leathers such as patent, nubuck, and the pebbled leather of a basketball, while Starks reminds us all why they are still the leaders in the lace game with 3M, purple star patterned and checkerboard laces.

The two NBA All Star Game-inspired Air Force 1’s released over the weekend at select retailers across the US.
