We take a look at the new Clarks Originals Fall/Winter 2011 Campaign. The brand does not only add interesting alterations of their classic to the line, but also follows up with some solid new silhouettes. We are definitely excited about the knitted flap version of the Desert Boot, seen here above.

Clarks Originals celebrate British Rock Royalty with a new capsule collection, scheduled for Spring Summer 2012.

The brand’s iconic Desert Boots have been updated in two styles – one with a Union Jack design and the other featuring the distinctive red, black and gold colorway that makes up the uniform of the guards at Buckingham Palace.

The shoes will be released to celebrate both Clarks Originals’ ongoing support the British music scene, and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, which will be commemorated in the UK next year.

For Spring 2012 Clarks Originals has gotten together with uniform experiment. The Japanese brand chose one of the most classic silhouettes of the brand – the Wallabee. The shoe comes in a light beige and navy suede colorway, featuring small UE logo placements on the heel. Look out for the release early 2012.

After several teasers, we can give you a more complete look at the Holiday 2010 collaboration between Clarks Originals and Loopwheeler. Using the signature fleece from the Japanese brand along with black suede turns out to be a solid combination. Furthmore special royal blue insoles come with the Desert Boot and Wallabee, both featuring the two brand logos as well. Look out for a limited release in the coming weeks.

For FW10, Clarks Originals introduces a new variant of the classic Wallabee, dubbed the “Rock.” Presumably named after rock-climbing (and not Rock N Roll) as it sports several outdoor inspired trappings, such as “D” rings, and hiking style laces (rather than studs.) The shoes also feature contrast stitching and collar details. These will be available in Ebony and Black leather options starting in August 2010. (fng)

Originally introduced in 1967, the Desert Mali is a higher-cut version of the classic Clarks desert boot. For Fall/Winter 2010, the Desert Mali returns in 5 different make ups: black and mahogany leather, as well as brown, cola and Wolf suede (pictured).

Highsnobiety columnist ilovedust puts us onto these high-visibility Clarks Desert Boots by iconic British artist Pete McKee. “The bespoke illustrations are screened on a nice soft Italian leather with ladies for the ladies and boys for the boys.”

The Clarks family began producing footwear in 1825, and in the mere 185 years since then they have produced some of the most celebrated styles around, including the Desert Boot, Wallabee and Natalie. The Originals range is designed with this rich history in mind, and this season sees these classic silhouettes given a well deserved spotlight with antique Tan and Brown shades.
