The Clarks family began producing footwear in 1825, and in the mere 185 years since then they have produced some of the most celebrated styles around, including the Desert Boot, Wallabee and Natalie. The Originals range is designed with this rich history in mind, and this season sees these classic silhouettes given a well deserved spotlight with antique Tan and Brown shades.

Autumn 2009 also sees a new addition to the range (pictured up front.) “The Blackdown is a chukka height boot that features the famous crepe sole, as well as a butt seam detail around the sides. Clarks is always worth a closer look. Usually they do not become too experimental, but they manage well to keep their classic footwear styles interesting by introducing new colorways and materials into the collection. For Spring/Summer 2010 they added some nice white leathers, as well as a wool pinstripe collection, both looking very good.

Long-established UK shoe brand Clarks has collaborated with Japan’s Neighborhood. Working with their Wallabee-esque, but less popular, Natalie style, this special release features high-quality details incorporated throughout. Neighborhood’s “FILTH” and “FURY” mottos are embossed on the top of the right and left shoe respectively. Available only in solid black leather. Now in stock at honeyee.

We get a first look at the Clarks Fall 2009 Footwear collection. Once again the UK brand proofs that their classic styles still work in todays market, offering premium leathers in mostly classic colorways. The release will include the Desert Trek, Wallabee and also the Weaver, our personal favorite in the line-up. From the 60th anniversary collection the Desert Boot comes in three colorways. Hanon will be getting these styles in July 2009.

After showing you the Bedwin Fall/Winter 2009 Collection before, we now give you a more detailed look at the accessories of the collection, which are just as strong. The line is made up of ties, scarfs, caps, hats, bags, shoes, boots, suspenders and more. In terms of collaborations Bedwin worked once again with Clarks on the Desert Boot in two special black make-ups and matching those they worked with Porter on a backpack.

For many, this shoe needs no introduction or discussion. Combining heritage and simplicity, the Clarks Weaver is a classic model that hasn’t been seen in years. Lucky for us, Clarks has decided to reproduce a run of this low-profile, crepe-soled cousin of the ubiquitous Wallabee and Desert Boot. Coming in chestnut brown and sand suede, the Clarks Weavers are available now at Oi Polloi.

Neighborhood presents the latest part of their Spring/Summer 2009 “Holiday in the Sun” Collection. For June they present a new line-up of short-sleeve shirts, shorts, denim, as well as some nice accessories. The accessories line-up includes a new helmet, flipflops, hats and the much anticipated Clarks collaboration shoe. They also worked with Porter on a leopard print camping chair.

Created in 1949, the Clarks Desert Boot celebrates its 60th anniversary later this year. Ever since its inception the boot has been an instant classic and still today remains a shoe of choice. To celebrate this special occasion, Clarks will be releasing a special 60th Anniversary Collection later this year. Each boot in the collection commemorates a decade of the shoes existence in the market.

Expect the boots to come as part of the Clarks Fall/Winter 2009 Collection.

After recently presenting to you the complete hobo Spring/Summer 2009 Collection, we want to highlight today their collaboration with Clarks on the Desert Trek shoe. hobo did not only choose some nice colors and quality materials for the shoe, but also gave it a nice upgrade by adding the flap to it. As part of their new collection the shoe comes in two colorways.
