Last week we presented to you the first part of the Kaws x Comme des Garcons collaboration – a series of wallets. But there is more to this exciting collaboration. Other products dropping are mens and womens t-shirts, wool bags and also fragrance sets. All pieces of this collaborative collection feature iconic hand-drawn graphics by the artist Kaws.
The collection will be available starting November 15th at colette, then from November 24th at Comme des Garçons, Dover Street Market and OriginalFake.

Japanese brand Comme des Garcons is known since a long time for their excellent wallet program and brings everything season interesting remixes, colors and materials in this product section. This time they have something very special for you, a collaboration series with artist Kaws. The series consists of overall 4 wallets in different sizes and styles. Each wallet features a graphic by the artist, spelling out “CDG”, “Kaws” or “Garcons”. Not only is it a great series, it is also quite moderately prices at 70-145 Euros.

The series can now be pre-ordered from Colette and will be shipped as of November 15th. Check out all pieces in detail after the jump.

We just reported about the remix of the original Plain Gravy t-shirt “Pharrell Can’t Skate”, “Hiroshi Can’t Ride Fixed”. And here we already have the next in line, the European version – Colette Can’t Dance. The t-shirt hints at the monthly Colette Dance Classes that take place in Paris. The t-shirts are limited to 100 pieces, hand numbered and available in Paris at Lazy Dog, Aimecube and they are working on getting it into Colette as well. Actually in our mind that would be the right attitude by Colette, to take it in themselves and sell it! Let’s see if that will happen. The designers site you can check out here. The brand behind the tee is called Bahamas.
You can argue the creativity behind this one, being the third in line, but it’s always fun to see the reactions of the people on these kind of things. More pics after the jump.

Halloween is just around the corner and of course the brands have not forgotten about that, especially not the toy brands. Here we present you some nice Halloween goodies that are available this month at Colette.
Medicom proposes their new Bearbrick set, “Trick or Treat”, consisting of a 400% and a 100% Bearbrick. Kaws brings back is skeletons, this time in fluo colorways – overall there will be three colors available. Last but not least the Simpson Qees also got dressed up for Halloween – Bart comes in a skeleton costume!
Either for yourself or as a nice present, these toys are something to look out for!

An exhibition focusing on day –in the streets- & on night –in the clubs- photography. From Paris to New York, from Berlin to Tokyo & from L.A to Shangai. It is a complete photographic report in an era of photo blogs that are witnessing our time on a day-to-day basis. In the streets, in clubs, in private parties, during catwalks, with friends, in front of celebs, in the middle of unknowns, the new portrayer is everywhere.
Through “From The Street to the Night” colette pays tribute to those artists who capture our time with talent, slenderness, humor, intellect & of course a trumendous energy.”

Of course there is also a t-shirt commemorating this event. Colette got together with The Cobra Snake and RVCA on a collaboration t-shirt, which is now available in their online store.

André – aka Mr A -, Claude Closky, So-Me, Work in Progress (Self Service) from Paris, +41 from Switzerland, Greg Foley (Visionaire) and Fabien Baron from New York, KAWS from Brooklyn, Jeremy Scott from Beverly Hills and Nagi Noda from Tokyo. Only 500 copies of each set have been made, and all are exclusive to colette in France.

We have reported about the artist/designer Michael Young before for his interesting watch concepts and also the Indulgences series that he did together with Just Another Rich Kid. Now the artist collaborated with Lacoste and created the Plastic Polo.
In a futuristic design that designer brings together textile and plastic and re-invents the classic Lacoste Polo. It will be released exclusively at Colette on September 24th and comes in a big range of colorways for both men and women. The Colette online store already carries some of them.

Colette supports the One 4 All Foundation, Thierry Henry’s official charity initiative dedicated to promote projects against racism and social inequality, with a Tommy Hilfiger trench coat from the Capsule Collection featuring a Nathaniel Goldberg portrait of the footballer in the lining of the coat. Only 14 made! Available from September 24.

From 3 to 15 september, on the occasion of the Rugby world cup in Paris and in a European exclusive, the RUGBY Ralph Lauren Collection will be available at colette. RUGBY is a collection inspired by the preppy style from prestigious American schools and universities. A nostaligic collection with a young, dynamic flair. And exclusive to colette, visit the eshop for the ball collector (only 200 made) and the polo Rugby x colette.
Colette dedicated an entire area to the initiative, actually where you would usually find the streetwear area in store. Decorated in the classic Ralph Laure style, they present the special product for the occasion. Check out pics of it after the jump.

Here we have an interesting new collaboration between designer Jeremy Scott and French luggage label Longchamp. The French label is mainly known these days for their “Pliage” series of bags. Pliage means “folding”. All the bags can be folded into a much smaller size than their actual size, to be put away. The classic has now been redesigned by Jeremy Scott with the poodle design.
The bag is now available in the Colette online store and priced at 90 Euros (115 USD) that is not too crazy at all. The bag is limited to 100 pieces and only available at Colette.
