Vintage Dunk - Be true to your school
As most of you might already know, Nike will start celebrating the anniversary of the Dunk next year. The first installment of the celebrations will enter stores in January 2008 with the Vintage Dunk series.
The Dunk has become famous through basketball, college basketball more specifically. Thus the Dunk is getting thrown-back to colorways representing the iconic college basketball teams that wore them. Dunk Hi’s will drop in Syracuse, University of Iowa, St. Johns, Kentucky, NC State, UNLV, and University of Arizona color-schemes as part of a project Nike’s dubbed “Be True: The College Colors Program.” Via Complex.
