The opening of the new Dover Street Market Ginza store will bring along a wealth of interesting collaborations and spaces. One of the most anticipated ones is the collaboration between New York’s Supreme and Comme des Garcons SHIRT. The store opens on March 16th, unfortunately we can only tell you then more about this interesting new team-up.

A fun and colorful plaid hat has released from the Comme des Garcons SHIRT Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. The hat features different color plaid patterns on the upper, with branding only featured on the lining. Union LA (storeguide) has the hat in stock now.

The Comme des Garcons SHIRT is offering a couple of graphic tees for Spring/Summer 2011 featuring a medley of cartoons drawn by Japanese artist Haruo Kobayashi. Available through Oki-Ni as either a white crewneck tee, or a faded orange pocket tee.

We take a first look at the new Pointer x Comme des Garcons SHIRT footwear collaboration for Spring/Summer 2011. They worked with white leather and camouflage print leather this season. While we do find the get together of the two brands very interesting, we would expect more from them. Especially the white leather shoe seems a little misplaced in a collection by two brands that we otherwise appreciate a lot and are known for their solid, yet creative work. Just our opinion. Our favorite is of course the camouflage loafer.

Comme des Garcons SHIRT presents a series of Ripstop Nylon Bags for spring. Options include a duffel bag and a backpack, each of which feature multiple mesh pockets and straps. Available now – in blue/grey or red/brown – at LN-CC.

As part of their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection, Comme des Garcons SHIRT worked with Generic Surplus on two canvas sneakers. The mid top is inspired by a boat shoe and comes in a dark navy colorway with gum outer sole. The low top sneaker comes in matching colors, yet also features a dark navy toe cap. Both sneakers are now available from colette.

Comme des Garcons SHIRT presents some interesting hats as part of their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The wool hats come with pompoms placed on the brim, resulting in a refreshing look on these otherwise very classic silhouettes and colors. Overall three hat styles are now available from colette.

First sneakers from the Tretorn x Comme des Garcons Spring 2010 collaboration have been released. So far they have come out a navy canvas low top sneaker with a green foxing band and white sole. Simple in the best way possible. “I think one of the items I think about during spring/summer are a pair of simple canvas sneakers you can bum around in – I love these classic, low-profile canvas sneakers from two iconic brands.” – Eddy Chai, Owner of Odin. Comme des Garcons SHIRT once again presents an interesting campaign for Spring/Summer 2010. This season they worked with artist Stephen J. Shanabrook. The artist applied the same techniques, known from his “Paper Surgeries” series, resulting in an overall interesting visual, playing with beauty and ugliness at the same time. Expect his artwork to also appear on the actual shirts of the collection this season.

The new Comme des Garcons SHIRT Spring/Summer 2010 Collection by Rei Kawakubo has been released. The line consists of t-shirts, shirts, jackets, shorts and hats, all featuring all-over graphics, inspired by road signs. We have to admit that we have seen stronger collections from the designer and are not big fans of the graphics this season, yet remixed in the right way one might be able to pull it off. The collection is now available at colette.
