From the new Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons MAN Spring/Summer 2012 Collection we present an interesting patchwork denim shirt. Coming with a dark denim base, the shirt features check pattern and paisley fabrics placed on the upper, resulting in an interesting handmade look.

Japanese magazine Sense presents a Spring/Summer 2012 editorial spread of the Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons Collection. A series of great pieces are highlighted in the photos, including great jackets, denim, shoes and also accessories. Especially the color contrasts, including bright color jackets and classic pants, are well put together.

Comme des Garcons brings two of its retail concepts to Germany. Comme des Garcons BLACK SHOP and Comme des Garcons POCKET SHOP, both opening on January 15th, 2012.

The concept is based on the idea of integrating the brand in the authentic district of Berlin-Mitte, where the shops merge with their surroundings in a lively residential area. A retail experience that interrelates with the neighborhood and is located where people live, work and do their everyday shopping.

The BLACK SHOP presents the brandʼs BLACK line featuring perennially iconic Comme des Garcons styles, mainly in black. Strong, yet subtle pieces, independent in their aesthetic approach at more accessible prices.

The POCKET SHOP next door is a small and intimate space that offers Comme des Garconsʼ expanding range of perfumes, wallets and PLAY. The shop works like a convenience store, stocked with a wide array of permanent products along with an ever changing selection of special editions.

The knitwear from Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons has been excellent this season and they continue with some more solid pieces. Today we present the Wool Knit Stadium Jumper, which is basically a knit version of the classic stadium jacket. It comes in two colorways and is now available from vendor.

Comme des Garcons PLAY has released the ‘Love Is Tender’ t-shirt series in celebration of Christmas 2011. As usual they keep it simple and mostly based around their heart logo graphic. Overall there are two designs, coming in several colorways for men, women and kids. The tees are exclusive to Dover Street Market.

Looking for a bit more of a luxurious way to keep your iPad encased, then this Comme des Garcons iPad wallet could satisfy that desire. Dover Street Market released this slick looking leather wallet available in a handful of colors. Junya Watanabe Man always bring innovation to his designs, usually with the application of contrasting materials and/or patterns to classic items. For this incredibly cozy looking wool/mohair duffle coat, rich tartan plaid hits are places on the elbows and hood. Vendor has this coat available now.

When done right, we always like streetwear brands flipping high fashion logos and brands and taking an ironic stand towards them. Some of you might remember the ‘Comme des Fuck Down’ graphic by SSUR a couple of years ago.

As part of their Holiday 2011 Collection, Diamond Supply Co. now presents their take of Comme des Garcons PLAY. They flipped their diamond logo, making it look similar to the PLAY heart logo and added the ‘Player’ tag line to it. T-Shirts, hoodies and crewneck sweaters featuring the graphic are now in stock at Caliroots.

Comme des Garcons have made a School-of-Life set of class rings, which ooze baller steez. Three rings have been designed by Rei Kawakabo, as they’re engraved with sayings that like “My Energy Comes From Freedom” and “Live Free, Strong Will. Even if you didn’t make it through graduation, you can get your hands on a champions ring. They come in two sizes for both guys and girls, and will be stocked at the CDG New York store.

For Holiday 2011 Comme des Garcons gets together with the estate of the late Keith Haring. The Japanese brand presents t-shirts, as well as lambswool and cashmere sweaters, featuring the art of Haring. A release of the collection is scheduled for mid November 2011 at Dover Street Market in London.
