Katerina Jebb produced a nice video for the launch of the latest Comme des Garcons Parfum, that we first presented a while ago.

“Comme des Garçons are pleased to announce a new perfume, Comme des Garçons. Constructed linearly, the fragrance opens with the man made organic composites of aldehydes and safraleine, opening up with hawthorns and derivations of lilac, before exploding in a riot of flower oxides, then finally succumbing to notes of industrial glue and brown scotch tape with hints of musk and stryax. Purposefully taking a bottle that has been disqualified from existence and purposefully giving it its right to exist. Launching mid November.”

After just having presented the colorful and flashy metallic wallet collection from Comme des Garcons for Christmas 2011, the Japanese brand goes in the complete opposite direction with their future offering – the ‘Very Black’ theme. The Very Black collection features luxury wallets, card holders and purses made with premium cow hide leather with the stitching, lining, zips and hardware all finished in classic black. This collection will be available in store from February 2012.

As part of their Christmas Specials 2011 Collection, Comme des Garcons will be introducing new metallic versions of its popular wallet collection. Featuring gold, green and blue metallic uppers, the series includes several styles of their wallet collection and a release is scheduled for mid November 2011.

Comme des Garcons is about to release its latest fragrance and what we know so far about it, is already very impressive. The box of the fragrance, is made of one piece of carton paper, folded in origami style into a beautiful, yet simple, white box.

CdG takes it even further and presents an entirely new bottle design as well for this new perfume, produced of old glass, rejected and un-used by others. The outcome is a very special and organic structure of a bottle, unseen before. All in all a new fragrance product from the Japanese brand and we cannot wait to find out more about it.

Once again eYe Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons MAN teamed up as part of its Fall/Winter 2011 Collection with The North Face. As usual we love the outcome of the capsule collection, which consists this season of several beige and black shell jackets. All featuring Gore-TEx outer shells, the jackets come with waterproof zippers and corduroy accents in black or brown on the collars and pockets. The linings feature tartan patterns in red or green. Very solid looking jackets, that will serve you well this seasons and many going forward.

We could simply not resist posting up another great outerwear piece from the Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons MAN Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, next to the Duvetica collaboration, that we just presented.

Earlier this season the brand already released two varsity jackets in a more classic wool/leather combo. Now they combined the jacquard knit that they have been using heavily for their knitwear pieces and blazers Fall/Winter 2011, with the classic varsity jacket. The outcome is once again impressive and simply beautiful. These of course come in very limited numbers and are now available from END.

Another great collaboration coming from Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons MAN this season is their work with Duvetica. They present a padded down jacket and a matchind reversible down vest. Both feature beige uppers. The jacket comes with corduroy and checker panels on the back, as well as plaid lining. The vest is beige on one side and red/white plaid on the other and zips all the way up. Both pieces are now available from END.

After already having presented some of the items for the 20th anniversary of Milanese concept store 10 Corso Como, they have released this week new t-shirts in collaboration with Comme des Garcons for the occasion. Three special anniversary design tees are now available in store and online.

An interesting new piece has released from the Comme des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. The Sweat Duffle Coat perfectly represents what we appreciate the most of the brand – taking classics into a new direction via material use. The classic duffle coat comes in sweat material, featuring a bi-tonal upper and of course the obligatory toggles.

For Fall/Winter 2011 Comme des Garcons SHIRT presents some nice new wool caps. Coming in two styles, they feature knitted wool and fur flaps, making sure to keep your ears warm this coming winter. Both hat styles come in two colorways and are now available from colette.
