As part of the on-going collaboration between The Beatles and Comme des Garcons, they have gotten together with sneaker brand Spring Court on their classic canvas low top G1 low top sneaker. For Spring/Summer 2011 the sneaker comes in a white canvas colorway, featuring both The Beatles Comme des Garcons and apple logos on the upper. The in-sole features also The Beatles Comme des Garcons logo along with the Spring Court logo. The sneakers are now available from Cliff Edge.

Comme des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN continues to work with British brand Mackintosh on some quality outerwear. As part of their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection they present the Plain Parka in khaki, the Light Navy Coat and two refreshing colorways of the Hooded Parka. Junya Watanabe presents from his Spring/Summer 2011 Collection an interesting new tote bag. Projecting the attributes and features of a hiking backpack onto a tote bag, the outcome is bold and new in this field. The bag comes in both navy and red and is now available from Union Los Angeles (storeguide).

Today we can give you a full look at the latest collaboration between Converse and Comme des Garcons PLAY on the Jack Purcell sneaker.

“Building on the notable success of the Spring 2010 collaboration between Converse and Comme des Garçons PLAY, the two brands have reunited for Spring 2011. The four new styles echo the sublime simplicity of the first collaboration with the classic Chuck Taylor All Star shoe, but instead bring PLAY’s signature heart-with-eyes logo to another Converse classic, the Jack Purcell shoe.”

The collection includes two black canvas and two natural canvas shoes, with one of each color graced with the black heart Comme des Garçons PLAY logo and the other with a red heart version. The sneakers will be released March 2011.

Comme des Garcons PLAY once again collaborates with Converse and for Spring/Summer 2011 presents the Jack Purcell. This time they gave the sneaker an off-white canvas upper and added their black heart logo to it. Look out for  these from end of February at Number3 and other CdG retailers.

From the Comme des Garcons Homme Plus Spring/Summer 2011 Collection we present these interesting leather lace-up shoes. While the colors of the shoe are kept very simple and tonal, the spots on the upper make for an interesting statement. The shoes are now available from colette.

We take a first look at the BLACK Comme des Garcons Spring 2011 Collection. The line which until now mostly consisted of t-shirts and some shirts seems to make more shape next season, offering a complete range, including outerwear, shirts, pants, sneakers and more. As usual all pieces come with some nice details, while most product comes in the color black.

As part of their Holiday 2010 “Merry Happy Crazy Colour” campaign and collection, Comme des Garcons has linked up with Lego artist Nathan Sawaya. The artist created Lego apple sculptures, perfect for the season. They come wrapped in a custom Comme des Garcons dust bag and are now for sale at Comme des Garcons stores around the globe.
