As usual the Super Bowl brought along a series of great new TV commercials this year. Some better than others, the car makers were again among the most active in the field. Over the last two weeks we have already presented some appealing spots. Now that the Super Bowl is over, the New York Giants have won this year, we can give you a nice recap of the best spots that aired this year.

Pharrell still surprises us and aside from producing music, continues to satisfy his creative inner beast with other interesting projects. The latest one you see here below – he produced the music to the new Lanvin Spring/Summer 2012 Ad Campaign. The imagery and video was produced by Steven Meisel. Lanvin once again surprises with an interesting and unexpected ad campaign this season.

Music: 18 year old Bronx, NY-born artist Maxine Ashley first caught the attention of super-producer Pharrell Williams on YouTube. Immediately impressed with her signature sound, soulful vocals with an edgy pop attitude, he signed her to his record label, i am OTHER entertainment. “Cookieman,” written and produced by Pharrell, is the first single off of Maxine’s upcoming debut album.”

Here comes the next big Super Bowl Ad, this time for the Acura NSX and it features none other than Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno. “Jerry Seinfeld is so excited about the new Acura NSX that he will stop at nothing to acquire the very first one.”

Honda Brings Ferris Bueller to Super Bowl and presents the official commercial for the 2012 Honda CR-V. Here above you can see the official game day commercial.

Honda’s ad already sparked mass conversation thanks to last Thursday’s teaser. The commercial, directed by Todd Phillips (Old School, The Hangover, Due Date, etc.), features Matthew Broderick playing himself in a grown-up version of his celebrated role as Ferris Bueller alongside the all-new 2012 CR-V. Using themes from the original film to bring Honda’s “Leap List” campaign to life, the spot is meant to reinforce how the CR-V helps consumers conquer their aspirations before life’s next big phase.

True fans may also spot dozens of “Easter Eggs” hidden in the commercial that pay homage to the original film; fans are encouraged to join the conversation at Facebook.com/HondaCRV.

The David Beckham Bodywear Collection for H&M will release at H&M stores around the globe on February 2nd, 2012. Today they launched the above commercial for the release of the collaboration collection.

Volkswagen previews their 2012 Game Day Commercial today and they continue with the Star Wars theme that was introduced in earlier commercials in 2011 already. The Bark Side – a bunch of dogs are barking the Star Wars theme music, the Imperial March theme. Genius! We cannot wait to see the fill thing.

Lakai enters the new year with a new commercial and as usual it is great. A simple, yet strong message, well communicated. Featuring Raven Tershy, the ad was produced by Ty Evans and Aaron Meza. Check it out!
