Common Projects keeps doing their thing well into Spring/Summer 2012. One of our favorites in the all-navy suede chukka boot seen above. Other highlights include all-black Achilles, fresh Officer’s Derbys and Rec Shoes and Shell-Toes in rich leathers, all of which can be seen in our gallery. Common Projects has teamed up with Thomas Erber for his Cabinet de Curiosités, being currently hosted at Browns. Together they present a premium version of the popular Achilles Low Top sneaker in crocodile leather. Made in Italy to the highest quality standards, just like all Common Projects product, these of course do not come cheap. You can buy them now from Browns for 2′400 Pounds.

Common Projects has certainly made a strong name for itself in the luxury sneaker market. Known for their extremely subtle design, high quality materials and construction, the New York brand will introduce a new collection come Spring 2012, entitled ‘New Editions’.

Mr. Porter has produced a nice sneaker feature. High top sneakers from their current catalogue are feature hanging high above the city, with the visual outcome being rather cool. A very solid Spring 2012 lineup from the sneaker makers par excellence, Common Projects. As our pals from Tres Bien put it; “it takes a subtle eye to appreciate everything that makes up the CP collection, but Pete and Flavio haven’t been resting on their laurels, and the Spring ‘12 collection is proof.” From the original minimalist sneaker range to runners and even more grown up boots and brogues, the line is one to beat. Common Projects introduces another new boot for Fall/Winter 2011, next to the Duck Boot that released this season. The new Postal Boot is once again a modern interpretation of a classic and as usual Common Projects manages to be that little bit cleaner and better than most others. Crafted in Italy, the boot comes with a proper outer sole and is available now in black and burgundy from Tres Bien.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, Common Projects introduces their new Duck Boot. Developing and growing the collection one step at a time, the new silhouette once again is nothing but really clean. This might be the most elegant duck boot we have come across to date. The polished leather boots come in black with pebbled leather contrast, with only the serial number print distracting. The boots come with a rubber outer sole and are Made in Italy, just like all the Common Project footwear.

We present one of our favorite sneakers to release this season from Common Projects – the Cap Toe Low Tan. The mix of the tan and white leather works out really nice and makes them really easy to match to pretty much any outfit. Also they look great with both long pants and shorts. All that in the usual high quality that we are used to see from Common Projects, makes for a definite winter for the summer months.

Common Projects presents a new summer edition of their low top Achilles sneaker. It comes in two colorways, featuring a mix of perforated leather and leather on the upper. The gum sole is a nice finishing touch. Both sneakers are now available from Ssense.

Common Projects has collaborated with New York-based designers Zero + Maria Cornejo on a sneaker featuring contrasting grey and navy leathers, an elastic bridge over the tongue and a rubber sole. While we’re happy to see Common Projects try something a little more daring, we’re not 100% sold on the final product. If you’re into them, you can find a pair at Project 8.
