In another interesting collaboration Common Projects has gotten together with United Bamboo. The two brands worked on the popular Common Projects low top trainer and gave it a gray and brown plaid wool upper, getting it ready for the colder months of the year. The sneakers will be available exclusively from United Bamboo, starting September 2009.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection, Common Projects has introduced a new high top sneaker. Similar in silhouette to the Lanvin high top, Common Projects of course keeps it as usual very minimalist and simple. Premium leather is featured on the upper, which otherwise only features a few perforated accents and of course the signature gold embossed serial number. The sneaker comes this season in light grey and in white.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection Common Projects presents a couple of new accessories. The Utility Bag comes in all leather and also in a canvas/leather version. Both feature a separate interior pouch that can also be removed. Furthermore they present the Accordian Wallet, which comesin black and in brown with an elastic closure. Just like their footwear, the accessories do not feature any branding aside from the embossed serial number of the product. The accessories are now available from Caliroots.

For Fall/Winter 2009 Common Projects continues to develop and enlarge their offering and introduces a new side zipper high top sneaker. The sneaker comes in black and dark red and features a side zipper, button strap and used looks on the sole. The sneaker is now available in both colorways at colette.

First styles from the Common Projects Fall 2009 Collection have been released. Once again the brand proofs that they are the kings of clean premium sneakers. They introduce a couple of interesting new materials, including a rubberized upper and nylon panels mixed with leathers. As usual each style is embossed with its own proprietary gold stamp on the heel representing the shoe’s individual serial number and size. All new Common Projects sneakers are now available from Oki-Ni.

We announced them earlier this week and now we finally get a better look at the collaborative sunglasses by Common Projects and Moscot. From these two brands we would not have expected anything else but a clean pair of high quality sunglasses. Today we also see for the first time the pouch that comes along with them and it looks beautiful.

Common Projects continues to expand and all that in a very organic manner. After first introducing their minimal sneakers and afterwards selected leather goods, the brand will soon be introducing their first sunglasses, developed with Moscot Originals – the Type 001.

“The flat black frames have a hefty look but are surprisingly light, with a hint of enamel at the temple where the metal accent would be on a traditional Wayfarer. (The frames are loosely based on the classic shape.) The trademark CP gold lettering is here too, but hidden inside the arms, lending the glasses an anonymous, effortless cool.” Via Men.style.

The sunglasses will be released in July at Moscot stores and go for 285 USD.

Common Projects will soon be launching their first small leather goods collection. The collection consists of two styles – an accordion wallet in three sizes and a zip wallet in large and small. Each piece comes in both black and metallic leather and all are somply designed with minimal branding, just like are used from Common Projects. Via Men.Style.

Most of the Common Projects Spring/Summer 2009 Collection has been released in stores and therefore we have also previewed already most of it. Thus we will concentrate on two styles that we have not shown so far from the line – there is a mid top leather trainer, which features a nice basketball silhouette, of course with an overall cleaner look. They also present a low top velcro strap trainer, with perforated suede uppers.

We give you a look at some more Common Projects sneakers that just released from their Spring/Summer 2009 collection. The brand has not only introduced new colors in the new collection, but also new materials – the perforated suede and the canvas are looking really nice this season.
