Common Projects introduces as part of their new Spring/Summer 2011 Collection the above new running sneakers, entitled “Running In Sneakers”. It is very hard to compete with the quality and clean lines of the brand in the high end casual market. We like the direction that they are taking, also with this performance inspired shoe, which could not look better than in this grey colorway. Ssense has the sneaker in stock now.

The Common Projects Desert Boot remains to be one of our favorite silhouettes of the footwear brand. The soft unlined mid top just feels and looks very premium, different from any similar sneaker in the market. For Spring/Summer 2011 the sneaker comes in a series of colorways, with the red suede version seen here above, being our favorite. They are now available from Oki-Ni.

As part of their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection, Common Projects has released a solid new rubber sole dress shoe. The American brand continuously manages to create classic and timeless modern silhouettes for their collections. The same is true for this new dress shoe, which is more elegant than a sneaker, but can still be worn on a daily basis. They are now available from Tres Bien (storeguide).

For Spring 2011 Common Projects introduces a new mid top model – the Moccasin Sneaker. Crafted from beautiful premium suede it has been released this week in a nice dark beige colorway. They are now available from colette.

For Holiday 2010 footwear brand Common Projects gets together with Robert Geller on a capsule collection, after having previously introduced a boot together. This time around they concentrate on clothing rather than footwear. The line includes a nice sand colored coat, made in Japan, charcoal pants and a grey shirt. The small collection is now in stock at ForwardForward.

The much anticipated collaboration between Common Projects and Evisu has been released today. The two brands worked on a small capsule sneaker collection, consisting of both a low top and a high top silhouette, both coming in white and navy premium leather. The trademark Common Projects branding has been changed with a further addition on the heel. The sneakers are now available from Oki-Ni.

We get a first look at the upcoming Common Projects Spring/Summer 2011 Footwear Collection. The brand evolves at a rather small pace, but we would actually say that it is just perfect. Silhouettes come in great new colors and materials, while they slowly expand the collection into new areas, introducing new footwear styles.

Yet another strong release comes from Common Projects. As part of their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection they present the Achilles Vintage Hi. The high top sneaker comes with nubuck uppers, a contrasting white leather trim, tonal enamel eyelets and an off-white mid-sole. Overall the sneaker comes in three colorways, which are all in stock at Ssense now.
