Commonwealth is one of the latest boutiques to start producing their own in-house collection. Before we only saw collaborative product from the store and once in a while an in-house product. In the future the Commonwealth collection will grow into a full line. For Spring 2010 they present several shirts, as well as 5-panel caps.

For the new year, Commonwealth introduces the Peoples Choice 5 Panel. “This classic cap features a natural twill Commonwealth label centered up front, and a woven “Anvil” logo flag on the back. After recently showing you the lookbook of the Commonwealth x Maiden Noir Capsule Collection, we can give you a more detailed look at the various products of the line today. The store and the brand present a solid line-up of shirts and jackets, that are all easy to wear and match.

Ending the year on a solid note and in light of their recent 5th Anniversary, Commonwealth is set to release a small capsule collection with Seattle based label Maiden Noir. Renowned for their impeccable attention to detailing, Maiden Noir has garnered a loyal following since their first season introduction. It is at no surprise that the same amount of thought and execution has been given to this collaboration with Commonwealth.

Consisting of three jackets, a long sleeve button-up shirt and a wool cashmere beanie – the Commonwealth & Maiden Noir collection blends Japanese cotton fabrics, Italian zippers, laser etched leather labels and construction of the highest standards. Each piece is limited to a dozen per style. In addition, Commonwealth and Maiden Noir labeled garment bags were produced to accompany the jackets.

The Commonwealth and Maiden Noir collection is slated to release Saturday, December 26th at their Norfolk, Virginia and Washington, D.C. locations, as well as, the Cmonwealth.com online shop. In the meantime, check out the collections look book shot on the Chesapeake Bay by Jason Rodman.

Back by popular demand! Commonwealth and Clipse team up once more for a special collaboration to commemorate the release of Malice and Pusha-T’s latest album: Till the Casket Drops. Two styles (each in a choice of black or white) will be available this Saturday, December 19th at Commonwealth VA, DC, and Cmonwealth.com.

After months of teasers, the Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary collection is finally dropping this weekend. In North America Reebok worked with the following retailers: ARC (pictured), Bodega, Commonwealth, HUF, Packer Shoes, Kicks-Hi, St Alfred, Stolen Riches and Undefeated. 31 pairs of each shoe will be on hand at the respective accounts over the weekend.

Wale’s debut album Attention Deficit drops tomorrow, November 10th, 2009. The following day, Wednesday, November 11th, Commonwealth and Interscope Records are holding a Meet & Greet with the artist at Commonwealth’s DC location. To commemorate the occasion, Commonwealth will be releasing a pair of exclusive Wale tees that same night. These tees will also be available at Commonwealth VA and online at Cmonwealth.com.

After several previews the Reebok x Commonwealth Omni Pump Lite triple pack is finally available. Once again the Washington boutique managed to create some solid product. The color pop, yet they do not go over board. All three colorways are strong and well put together. They go for 125 USD and are available here.
