commune de paris front Commune De Paris 1871 Spring/Summer 2009 Collection

Today we present you an interesting new label out of Paris – Commune de Paris 1871. The brand offers in their first collection premium basics and accessories along with interesting artist collaborations, very different from what we have seen so far. Artists are given a theme that is close to the brand and then go ahead and interpret it in their work, which ends up being featured on product by the brand. For the first collection they worked with Philippe Rossetti, Simon Pillard, Julien Langendorf and David Herman Dune.

We like a lot the first lookbook by the brand, taking a different route from most other brands. The creative mess, mixed with their collection and traditional French elements makes for an interesting outcome.

The collection is now available online here.

Take a look at the first collection of Commune de Paris 1871 after the jump.
