It’s nice seeing Adidas also releasing some subtle styles in premium materials as part of their Consortium collection. The latest one to hit shelves soon is the purple Green Star. Purple upper, white stripes, that’s it and that’s enough! Undefeated Japan will be releasing the sneaker on February 9th.

The Adidas ZX Boat shoe, that takes much of its inspiration from the Visvim collection, will also be released as part of the Consortium collection. The shoe comes with an all-over snake-like pattern and nice details in silver and black. This classic looking shoe certainly speaks to the more mature customer and obviously has a much better price point than the Visvim shoes. Expect these to drop soon. Pic via Sneaker Freaker.

Here we present you one of the most exciting releases so far from the Adidas Consortium series – the Micropacer Hamper. It comes in the signature blue of Adidas Original with white stripes and sole. The shoe comes in a boxset, which includes a belt and belt buckle, cleaning kit and more. Unfortunately the pack also does not come in cheap – it will go for 350 Euros.

We finish our Adidas Consortium January 2008 preview with two more classics – the Greenstar and the Campus 80’s.

Thankfully Adidas kept them classic and did not try to entirely re-invent the sneakers. The Campus 80’s comes in a light blue colorway with white stripes and accents, premium leather lining and white sole.

We continue our preview of the Adidas January 2008 Consortium collection. Next in line is the Gazelle, which comes in two popping colorways. We already showed you these over the weekend, but since we have nicer and more detailed pics today, we give show them again.

The green colorway comes with purple accents. The upper is made of premium leather with a snakeskin structure, but a suede feel to it. Definitely interesting.

The orange colorway is really bright, reminding us of security orange, and has black accents. In terms of materials it is the same as the green colorway. Pics via Limiteditions.

Here some more previews of the Adidas Consortium January 2008 releases. They have some nice classics in fresh colorways waiting for you. Here we present you the Forum ADV and the Superskate Mid.

The Forum ADV comes in all turquoise and a mixture of materials. Both synthetic materials and different kind of leather have been used on the upper. The all white sole is a nice contrast to the turquoise and in general this is a great Spring colorway.

The Superskate Mid comes in a blue/red colorway. The entire upper comes in premium suede and the fading effects with the colors are definitely interesting and something one does not comes across a lot. Pics via Limiteditions.

A first look at what Adidas Consortium has to offer in the new year. The latest releases consists of two Adidas Gazelle – one comes in green with purple accents and the other one in orange with black accents. The uppers come in exotic leathers. Both color combos are very nice.
The most special release this month is for sure the black reflective Adidas Campus. It comes with a black upper, white stripes on one side and checkered carbon stripes on the other side. The entire upper is reflective. Pics via DQM.

As part of their Consortium collection, Adidas has now also dropped the Archive pack, which brings back classics in a new premium make-over. In the Consortium Archive Pack they worked on the popular Adidas Kegler. The Kegler was originally introduced as a skittles shoe during the 80’s. This re-issued style is back in its initial white / blue colourway with a deluxe oxhide leather upper and suede toe bumper overlays. The second colorway comes in a brown ostrich leather upper with gold accents.
Both sneakers are limited to 350 pieces worldwide. Hanon has them available now!

This month Adidas is only releasing one new shoe as part of their Consortium series. It is part of the Consortium Status Pack. Compared to most other Consortium releases this shoe is more subtle and basic, and concentrates on the premium materials and overall quality.
Expect this Top Ten Lo to still hit stores this month!

We have previewed these Star Wars inspired Adidas Consortium sneakers before, but now that they have been released we had to show them to you again, simply because of the great packaging. Much like the Star Wars figures, the sneakers also come in a nice packaging. We have seen similar releases from Bape before.
