CONS drops two clean new CTS Mids for Holiday 2009. The beefed up Chuck Taylor is offered in perforated black suede over a phaeton grey midsole, as well as chocolate suede on white. Each features monochrome eyelets and a non-standard All-Star patch, which are both good looks. The chocolate is available now while the black hits November 1st, 2009 at Converse Skate retailers. Some nice new styles have landed from Converse’s Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The latest releases include a garment dyed Chuck Taylor Hi in Moon Rock (pictured), herringbone Chuck His and Lows, plaid Chuck Lows and a nice deep suede Jack Purcell. All styles featured include the Ox treatment, meaning (primarily) a more comfortable insole than your average All-Star. Now available at The Darkside Initiative.

After giving you a first look the other day, we show you some more images of the second season of Converse Addict, the Japanese high end version collection of the Chuck Taylor. Premium materials and Vibram soles are only two aspects that separate the line from the regular one. The second season consists of three colorways – black, white and a green/red/purple one. All three are now available at R*izm.

Converse Addict is the label’s Japanese “high-end” Chuck Taylor All-Star line. Taking the 100 year old sneaker and endowing it with premium materials and a Vibram soles amongst improved cushioning and, of course, limited distribution results in what could be referred to as the “ulimate” Chuck. A vintage look, loaded with the latest technology. This season sees the release of several heavy canvas modesl in multi-colored green/red/purple, faded black and pure white.

Japanese brand Victim worked with Converse on the Jack Purcell. The low top trainer comes in a black canvas version with black and white rubber details and contrasting white stitching on the upper. The sneaker is now available from Corner’s Ark.

After the recent Ian Ginoza Jack Purcell and Huf Skidgrip for Converse’s 1HUND(RED) Collection, the label has now collaborated with Staple to create a special (RED) edition of the “Pigeon” Sea Star. In addition to helping save lives in Africa, this follow-up to the successful Staple Design x Converse Sea Star is kept simple with a black, white and red “23″-inspired color story. The sneaker features the same trappings as the earlier pigeon version including puffed out collar, nautical outsole and water resistant outer collar. Premieres October 8th, 2009, exclusively at Reed Space in New York City.

Converse offers a preview into their forthcoming Holiday 2009 CONS collection. If you’re not familiar with the line, CONS revamped some of their classic styles into functional skate sneakers with tech such as memory foam tongues, cushioned heel collars and a thicker insole. Pictured above are a black and cranberry Pro Leather with a perforated heel panel; and a new grey CTS (Chuck Taylor Skate) done in suede – right down to the toe cap. The latest drop also includes black CTS mid with red accents. All great simple looks that work well whether or not you actually skate ‘em. All three styles should be hitting retail late next week.

Once again we present you the latest from Converse Japan. For October 2009 they present a series of new Chuck Taylors, featuring contrasting stitching, gingham uppers, leopard details and graphic uppers. Most variations of the sneaker come in both low top and high top versions. The Jack Purcell comes with checker uppers this month and the Chevron comes with a houndstooth pattern print. An interesting addition this month is the slip-on.

After the recent Converse x Ian Ginoza Jack Purcell Red Ox from the 1HUND(Red) Collection, Converse has now worked with Huf on the Skidgrip Mid. The sneaker comes in black canvas and features an all-over “H” pattern. The Huf logo is also featured on the mid-sole and on the laces. The tongue features a special Converse by Huf tag. The sneaker is now available at Sneakersnstuff.

Debuted earlier this year, the Converse Addict Collection revisits the iconic Chuck Taylor sneaker in a variety of premium make-ups. Featuring high quality materials and revamped construction, including Vibram soles, the Chuck Taylor Hi seen here is given a green, purple and red panelling. Scheduled for a mid-October release.
