After showing you the video animation by tokyoplastic a couple of weeks ago, we can give you a first look at the two sneakers and the toys that are part of the Nike Cortez Brothers Double Pack. The pack consists of a blue nylon Cortez and a silver metallic Cortez Flymotion. The design of the two sneakers is also represented in the two toys, Phil & Bill [based on Nike’s co-founders Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman].
Centered around two special characters, Phil & Bill [based on Nike’s co-founders Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman], ‘The Cortez Brothers’ and their characters are physical manifestations of the Nike Cortez – pure hybrids of classic style and performance. While Bill shares the classic style of the original 1972 Nike Cortez – he is old school, Phil, Bill’s younger brother, represents 2009 and has a tireless appetite for new things, ideas and experiences.
Overkill will be hosting a pre-release of the sneakers on January 31rst. Worldwide the pack will only be released on February 14th.
Detailed images of the sneakers and the toys follow after the jump.
