Creative Control takes you into the Good Wood Headquarters to meet the brains behind the brand and to give you a glimpse at the woodworking process as the custom Creative Control x Good Wood pieces are made. There’s also a sneak peek at pieces for Dame Dash, Curren$y and the special BluRoc joint that will be available only at Feb 25th’s NYC show at the Grammercy Theater.

Creative Control follows the omnipresent Ferris Bueller as he stalks the streets of NYC during New York Fashion week. With stops at Patrick Ervell’s presentation and The Alexander McQueen Memorial and cameos by R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe and “The Sartorialist” Scott Schuman, his adventures promise to be an insider guide to NYC and wherever else he plans to take us.

This Superbowl Sunday the Saints won’t be the only New Orleanders taking hits on the green. the N.O.’s native son Curren$y and Don Cannon will be releasing from their tree lined lungs the “Where is Smokee Robinson?” mixtape just in time for the big game. In anticipation of the Sunday soundtrack, Creative Control shot this short visual of the track “VISION” featured on the upcoming mix. “Where is Smokee Robinson?” will be available this Super Bowl Sunday, February 7th

“Sometime people live life as spectators and some are active participants in the life’s processes. In Curren$y’s latest video for his song “Breakfast” he does just that going from sleeping through NYC’s harsh winter to waking up in a sun drenched Jamaican villa. Director Jonah Shwartz leads us through Spitta’s daily routine of early morning doobie rolling over a mellow Mos Def produced soundtrack.”

“With the late night wars in full swing and hosting slots being as secure as clothesline in a hurricane, the only consensus on night owl television was that BlakRoc was something to behold. Before the tossed barbs and the chaos, The Black Keys teamed up with Mos Def with Jim Jones and RZA to perform on David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon respectively. Creative Control gives you a look behind the scenes as the acts prepared for their after dark debuts.”

Once again Creative Control is at it and presents the first episode of Ti$aVision TV by Taz Arnold. The excentric musician is in his LA studio in action and also gives a little tour of the product project that he has been working on in recent months.

“The word “crazy” gets tossed around unduly when speaking of people who may be on another wavelength or maybe even ahead of their time. The non-linear thought process of ‘tAz Arnold aka Ti$a’ has definitely garnered him the “crazy” moniker but his ability to curb that right brain thinking into efforts such as music and clothing would brand him more as an eccentric due to his ability to harness his creativity. From working with musicians such as Kanye West, Herbie Hancock, Erykah Badu, Iggy Pop and his own group, SA-RA Creative Partners to fashion brands such as MCM and Kanye West’s now defunct Pastelle, ‘tAz has proven that just because they can’t understand you doesn’t mean you’re not making sense. Creative Control spent some time with Ti$a’ in his L.A. studio to find a method to his perceived madness.”
