Very recently we gave you a look at a down shirt from Crescent Down Works and DQM, and it looks as if their partnership does not end there. Also for this season, we find that the two brands have also worked together on this waxed cotton Montagne parka available in black and tan. The jacket is in stock now at the DQM online shop.

There’s been a real influx of down filled shirt releases over the last week or so, which is no surprise given the time of year, but this one from DQM and Crescent Down Works is probably one of the nicer ones available at the moment. Available in green and blue, these down shirts have some nice details such as contrasting colored lining and a custom denim shirt collar. These classic looking down shirts will be available through DQM on November 17th.

The presentation by Tres Bien of these recent Crescent Down Works releases is on point. A nice range of pieces from the outerwear specialists is showcased here including down filled parkas, vests and shirts. Each piece is done justice by Tres Bien’s well done imagery. If you have not stocked up on winter wear, these look like some good options.

Seattle based Crescent Down Works get to work with DQM this season to create a cross season version of their Montagne Parka. Using an American made Martexin Original Wax waxed cotton fabric to create a custom, water repellent but breathable outer shell will stand harsh weather conditions. The parka features Crescent Down Works’ signature streak free nylon liner and leather reinforced buttons, and is finished with custom DQM labeling. Coming in both black with an orange rust liner, and tan with a navy liner, the DQM x Crescent Down Works Montagne Parka is available exclusively at The Vans DQM General on 93 Grand St now, and will be available online this Monday 3rd October.

Retailer South Willard debuts an eponymous clothing line for Fall/Winter 2009. Heavily inspired by growing up California, the line focuses on functionality and quality, and the production notes attest to this. Jackets are made by Crescent Down Works in Seattle, denim in Okayama Japan, and shoes by Quoddy Trail in Maine. All with meticulous attention to detail. Now available in store and online from South Willard.

Once again New York’s Dave’s Quality Meat worked with Crescent Down Works. This time they chose the Drescent Down Works Hooded Down Jacket. It comes in two colorways in a nylon shell with ripstop nylon liner. Furthermore it comes with a removable hood, leather re-inforced buttons and inside zipper pocket. DQM will release the jackets on November 19th and online on November 23rd.

In an interesting collaboration, Crescent Down Works got together with Dave’s Quality Meat. Together they worked on the classic Montagne Parka, which comes in navy and in tan. The jacket comes in a 60/40 cloth shell, rip stop nylon lining, leather toggles and reinforced buttons. All in all a very solid collaboration. The jackets will be released on September 11th.
