Designed to tie-in with the forthcoming Crooked Tongues BBK BBQ in association with Nike iD, this iD creation has been generated to reflect the Thai location. The sneaker features a bold color scheme, premium materials and the contrasting green sole make it a really nice AF1. The gold indicates a special occasion and the white and orange the hot climate. Once again great work by the Crooked Tongues crew.

Pictures have already been circulating and here we can show you now the final outcome of the Adidas Superskate, designed by the Crooked Tongues crew for their upcoming Bangkok BBQ.
They kept it simple with main part of the sneaker being white, off-white and accents in a nice and rich red.
“In terms of materials, the stripes have been given the faux-elephant treatment but left neutral to let the texture speak for itself and there’s a fair dose of nubuck on the upper. The external lower side panels have been made from red suede, while their inner equivalents are grey. The red lining is a little more flamboyant than your average, housing a gold printed sockliner, and we’ve added some touches that fall beyond mere aesthetics.
Finished with a vivid heel tab and panel that carries the Thai translation of our mantra and party motto, “Show love and drop knowledge”, three sets of metal tipped laces and a gum sole, we’re very pleased with our latest creation. Produced in a limited quantity of 300 especially for the impending event on the 19th of August, they’ll be given to lucky attendees on the big day…”

So, head out to Bangkok to be one of the lucky 300 to get your hands on it. In our mind definitely worth it. It also comes in a nice pouch. A great sneaker! By the way, keep in mind, the Nike iD AF1’s that we showed you earlier are made for the same event!
Check out many detailed pictures of the sneaker after the jump.
