Helsinki’s CTRL links with Sabre on a pair of shades for SS10. The frame is handmade acetate with metal detailing, stainless steel french comotec hinges and 100% UV protected CR39 lenses. Look for these in stores shortly.

Today we can give you a look into CTRL’s extensive new Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The lookbook was shot in Helsinki and Los Angeles. Helsinki is the home of the brand, yet Los Angeles is probably the better way to describe the style of CTRL.

One again bold graphics, bold colors, prints and wild cuts make up the collection of the brand. The line was inspired by flowers, the Philippines, Johnny Depp’s movie performances and much more.

CTRL has definitely always been a brand that stood next to the crowd. It is hard to compare the line to any other, as they always took a different route than most others and yet stayed true to their own identity. Vibrant colors, loud design, mixed with innovative cut-and-sew. Also the brand nicely mixes different styles together.

We give you a first look at the New Era caps of the CTRL Summer ‘08 collection. The Scandinavian brand has always come out with more special and unique graphics and has now also translated these onto the classic 5950 New Era cap.
All in all they will be releasing 3 caps and they are set to drop in June.

Moving away from being a strict skate brand, CTRL is moving towards more street centric looks with a collection carrying t-shirts, varisty based jackets, and knitted vneck sweaters.
