Illustrator Joseph Senior presents his new Pop Culture Hello Kitty Series, shining a different light onto the iconic Japanese cartoon character. Say hi to Hello Darth Vader, Hello Daft Punk, Hello Dark Knight, Hello Gaga, Hello Garfield, Hello Thor and many others.

Publicis Consulting produced a really great ‘2012 Wishes’ video short, using singing greeting cards. Apparently the video was even approved by Daft Punk, who’s song was reproduced in the video.

Many were disappointed by the remixes of Daft Punk’s score for Tron:Legacy and now, a little late, a good one has finally come out – remixes by TRS-80 and lyrics and vocals by Ariel Pink for the song ‘Sky Sailor’.

“US label Vinyl International has released a new 10″ EP called Sky Sailor, which includes two new TRS-80 remixes of DP’s score, including an understated but affecting version of ‘Solar Sailer’ that includes new vocals and lyrics from Ariel Pink.”

After the Daft Punk inspired Club Coke 2011 bottles launched earlier this year, we present today the official Daft Punk x Coca Cola collaboration bottles.

The classic Coke glass bottle comes with gold and silver Coca-Cola logo application and matching Daft Punk bottle crown sitting on top. The silver one is actually 925 silver and the gold one features 18k yellow gold. Hand finished the bottles are sitting in a box designed by Daft Punk. The bottles were of course inspired by the helmets of the electronic duo. The signed box set is limited to only 20 sets worldwide. This collaboration far surpasses the previous ones with Mika, Karl Lagerfeld and Justice/So Me.

This week the DaftCoke.com website went live, accompanying the collaboration between Coca-Cola and Daft Punk on some special limited edition Club Coke bottles. The first range has bottles “inspired by Daft Punk” have already hit retail, but rumors are going around that there will be much more to come from this project.

As part of record label EMI’s campaign to support the Japanese Red Cross, Daft Punk are auctioning off the black 1987 Ferrari 412 featured in their film “Electroma.” The set of wheels comes complete with a signed California “HUMAN” plate. Place your bid here, and be sure to check out all of EMI’s other Japan relief auctions on eBay, which include the Beastie Boys’ Japanese MTV Moon Man Award, amongst other items. First showcased a while ago, Medicom has announced an official release date for the RAH (Real Action Hero) versions of their Daft Punk x TRON: Legacy toys. The two figures will drop on April 15th and will go fast for sure.

As many of your will be well aware, last year Daft Punk handled soundtrack duties for the film Tron: Legacy. On April 5, Walt Disney Records will release a remix album, entitled Tron: Legacy R3CONFIGUR3D, which features the likes of Boys Noize, M83, Moby, Paul Oakenfold, and others reworking the original Daft Punk score.
