David Flores 'Deathead' Vinyl Figure

Artist David Flores has been busy lately. Today we get a first look at his upcoming 10″ vinyl figure. Entitled ‘Deathead’, the toy is a “reinterpretation of Mickey melded with Totenkopf symbol utilized by the Prussian army during the time of Frederick the Great will be produced by Bic Plastics and reportedly come in five colorways.”

The artist stays 100% true to his signature segmented style with the vinyl toy. A release date has not been announced yet, but we will of course keep you posted.

This side of the collection sees four more of David Flores’ most famous pieces — including one of John Lennon as pictured above, curated into a series of collectible t-shirts. Each shirt has a hand numbered hang tag out of 350 and is packaged in a David Flores x Akomplice box.

David Flores x Akomplice T-Shirts-01
Akomplice presents part one of a two part David Flores mini series. This collection consists of some of David Flores’ most famous pieces curated into a series of collectible T-shirts. Each shirt has a hand numbered hang tag and is packaged in a David Flores x Akomplice box.

An official release party will be held at the Akomplice flagship store (1115 State St, Santa Barbara CA) on September 1, 2011, where David Flores will unveil a brand new series of works.

Here comes a good one from the folks of Bounty Hunter. They joined forces with artist David Flores to produce the above Mickey Mouse t-shirt, exclusively for the Hell Fire Canyon Club. Flores applied his mosaic style to a skull version of Mickey Mouse. Look out for a release soon.

We have presented you the XLarge x Medicom x David Flores Bearbricks before. In a third part to this three-way collaborative project they created matching hoodies to the blue and green Bearbricks. The hoodies are made exactly to the look of the Bearbricks, including each and every detail, such as the ears.
The hoodies will be released along with the blue and green Bearbricks December 1rst. Not many people will be able to pull this one off, but the idea is funny. More pictures after the jump.
