The first Asics Gel Lyte III collaboration worldwide was created by Ronnie Fieg for David Z. in May of 2007. One year and 4 GT III collabs later, Ronnie has expanded his David Z make-up arsenal to many other successful collabs with numerous brands and has built a strong following around the globe. This time around Ronnie has decided to pull a style out of the Asics archives and work with the GT Quick. Despite other GT Quick releases popping up all over the net, Fieg was the first to work on this style designing this color-up back in September of ‘07. For the GT Quick release, Ronnie has teamed up with Complex magazine for an in store event. AT THIS EVENT RONNIE WILL ALSO LAUNCH A GEL LYTE III THAT HAS BEEN KEPT A SECRET AND AWAY FROM THE PRESS.
This Thursday at 9pm there will be a friends and family celebration in the newly opened David Z shop in Times Square. For the event and the first 50 in-store purchases on Friday, there will be a high grade white leather bag and a matching purple Asics t-shirt given with purchase, each style priced at $100.00. 200 pairs per style will be available to the public on Friday June 20th on Davidz.com as well as the flag ship store.

Fresh off the success of the first two styles, Ronnie Fieg’s third and final installment of the Saucony x David Z Run Away pack will drop this Thursday online (here 1:00pm) and Friday in-store(10:00am). The third design was held back for Ronnie’s birthday June 15^th, celebrated annually at Goldbar which is where the inspiration for the design came from. 120 pairs made and will be priced at $90.
The sneaker comes in a black/gold/gucci colorway, features thick lacing and a mix of leathers on the upper as well as the "Run Away" slogan on the back heels.

David Z’s resident buyer Ronnie Fieg used the Saucony Courageous to design the Run Away pack that will be limited to 144 pairs per colorway. It will be exclusively available at the David Z. flagship store as well as 24 pairs allocated for Davidz.com. Ronnie created the “Run Away” theme so Saucony can take these designs and run away from their normalcy, they were created for sneaker heads to take a second look at Saucony as a brand and help give respect to a company with a strong history and renowned heritage.
Features on both sneakers include different kinds of premium leathers, embroideries, sprinkled mid sole and more. You can expect more sneaker boutiques to collaborate with Saucony this year, just a heads up already.
The pack will be released May 2nd.

After the jump a close look at both Saucony Courageous out of the David Z. “Run Away” pack.

Since 1946, Sebago has established themselves as being known for their top quality boat shoes. Their iconic Docksiders are known world wide and have dominated the boat shoe industry. Ronnie Fieg and David Z have teamed up with Sebago for their 25^th Anniversary to put a spin on boat shoe line by creating their own timeless styles using the finest leathers and materials available.
They created a black and a grey version of the all time classic. 120 pairs of each colorway have been made and they are available now online.

After successfully working with Asics and Red Wing last year, David Z is about to introduce another collaboration project. Thanks to Nicekicks we have a first look at two upcoming David Z x Saucony sneakers.

American made boot company Red Wing teams up with Ronnie Fieg for David Z’s 25th year anniversary. Red Wing makes the highest quality hand crafted boots in the world and they have been doing it since 1905. David Z. has been selling Red Wings for over 20 years and have sold thousands of pairs to customers from all over the world including Japan for the big Red Wing boom back in the early 90’s. Since then, Japan has made it a staple and the rest of the world is taking a closer look at what Ronnie thinks is the best boot making company ever.
 
On this boot they used a very rich oilly brown leather along with a black welt and the classic white outsole. “25th year” is embossed on the outside of the boot. The price is set at $250.

60 pairs will be produced, 30 pairs will be available online at davidz.com along with 30 pairs available at the flagship store(556 broadway bet. prince and spring st.) on Dec. 21st.

A while ago we presented to you the David Z x Asics “Solid Gold” and “Stainless Steel” Gel Lytes.
There will be a private asics event for the release of Ronnie’s “solid gold” and “stainless steel” gel lytes at the following location-  The David Z shop, 384 5th ave. The private party will take place Thursday Dec. 13th at 8pm for friends and family where 50 pairs per color will be available for purchase 1 day prior to online and in-store release. On the following day(Fri. dec. 14th) at 3pm there will be 50 pairs per color available at davidz.com along with 100 pairs available at the flagship store- 556 broadway between prince and spring st.(10am).
Along with the shoes comes a neat lighweight tech bag custom designed for this pack. The price is set at $130 for the package. After the jump some more pics of the package.

“Stainless Steel” represents the 25 strong years that David Z. has sustained its independent sneaker boutique success in New York City. “Solid Gold” reflects the David Z flagship store’s status as being a high line luxury sneaker shop in the heart of Soho. All in all a very strong pack.

Asics once again got together with a strong partner, after recently working with Patta and Alife NYC. Designed by Ronnie Fieg, veteran sneaker designer for David Z’s 25th year anniversary, a strong collaboration is presented. There will only be 200 pairs per color available to the public around Christmas time. There will be 50 pairs per color available online at davidz.com and the rest will be sold at the David Z flagship store 556 broadway(between prince and spring street).
