DC LiFE BOOST LC Fall 2011

DC Life Runner Fall 2011

DC LiFE introduces their new UNI-LITE® technology with the BOOST LC (LiFE Collection) as seen at Agenda. Though the inspiration is obvious, we appreciate the return of more technical styles from the big skate labels – keeps their riders wearing DC “off the board.” The colors are inspired by a “color correction” combo of CMYK. Look for a release in Fall 2011.

DC Life “Please Stand By” Pack

02 December 2010, 12.05 | Posted in Sneakers | 2 comments »

DC Life Please Stand By Sneakers
DC Life introduces the “Please Stand By” pack as part of its Holiday 2010 Collection.

The pack (which includes a special edition Admiral SE and Sector 7 SE) was inspired by and came about after a brief reflection of current events and questioning today’s lifestyle.

Designers took a look at the evolution of communication and technology – For instance our grandfather read the newspaper, our dad watched the news, and we tweet. Analog is dead… Though the fear is evident, what if the Internet died? Would people be ok and or as patient as past generations were upon being asked to “Please Stand By…”?

Available now at DC Shoes.

Have a look at the Sector 7 SE after the click.

DC for Hotel on Rivington Holiday 2010

DC for Hotel on Rivington Holiday 2010 Sneakers

DC expands its partnership with New York’s Hotel On Rivington for Holiday 2010, not only lacing the staff in a limited edition version of the DC LIFE Cadet Chukka but also dressing the staff in a crisp black sweater, the Subway 2.

The Cadet Chukka, a new model for Fall 2010, has been customized with a laser etch of “HOTEL ON RIVINGTON” on the outsole, a design treatment that pays homage to the iconic side-wall bold DCSHOECOUSA lettering on the classic DC LYNX skate model that originally launched just over a decade ago now. Other premium details include full grain leather (eyerow with hidden lace option, collar and heel) and silky suede under-lays, and the DC Trademarked “pill” pattern etched leather on the toe down.

Produced exclusively for the hotel, this is the 6th time DC has worked with staff to provide them kicks from the DC LIFE Collection. Past sneakers include the DC LIFE Sector 7, Dress Sneaker, Admiral, Admiral Sport, and the Ensign. This is the first time that DC has dressed the staff in apparel.
