DC LiFE opens their new Spring 2011 season by releasing a new silhouette – the District 4. The mid top sneaker features custom high performance high abrasion resistant pill pattern leather and suede on the upper, complemented by a hidden lace system. The district 4 sneaker comes this season in 3 colorways.

The latest installment in SSUR’s ongoing collaborative project with DC has hit retail. The CAVIAR CARTEL colors are inspired by SSUR’s russian roots; the black sneaker represents the black market trade of caviar, while the red shoe represents the soviet iron curtain. Save it. We know they’re JIV rips.

Last week we went by the DC Showroom in NYC to check out their forthcoming product for the coming Fall/Winter 2010-2011 season. Among a number of solid snowboard pieces we came across a duo of bags from Montreal designers Bruxe. Featured in navy canvas with maroon accents the bags take on familiar Bruxe shapes with added DC branding and logowork. Available at select accounts shortly.

DC and SE Racing collaborate for the fourth time, this season releasing updated versions of the Quadangle and PK Ripper Fixed Gear bikes.

The Quadangle, SE Racing’s classic frame, has been revamped into a 26-inch cruiser. This is the first time that a large size frame has been featured on this bike. The new model is being featured in a bright fluorescent yellow that will be hard to miss on the streets.

The updated PK Ripper Fixed Gear is a blend of an old school BMX and the modern fixed gear. Details from the classic PK Ripper BMX that have been incorporated in this new release include floval tubing, a landing gear fork and a loop tail rear end. The bike really pops with a bright fluorescent orange colorway.

Entering it’s 7th season, the Spring 2010 Admiral from DC Life was inspired by colors experienced during a Western Americana road trip. Wild red and purple sunset influenced leather uppers meet indigenous prints and patterns designed by NATIONAL FOREST on one of DC’s more popular silos. Available now at store.dcshoes.com.

Seen here is the Cadet Chucka, a new addition to the DC LIFE Collection for Fall 2010. The sneaker features premium details such as panache leather, leather piping, suede panels, and custom DC Pill Pattern leather on the toe box.

After the jump you’ll see the Holiday 2010 Cadet Chucka color ups. Inspired by Thanksgiving, the shoe comes in brown and pumpkin orange with traditional holiday stripe lining.

Artist Huck Gee worked with DC on a special Ken Block collection that consists of 4 sneakers, a t-shirt and a New Era cap. Inspired by Ken’s racing career, Huck created a custom “Block” head featuring the number 43 (Ken’s race number) that adorns each item. The sneakers are offered in both “murdered-out” (as pictured above) or a more colorful “drippy” option that matches Ken’s Ford Fiesta. The black shoe pictured comes out for Fall 10. Ken also worked on a new TeamWorks Collection that launches Holiday 10 – the drip shoe pictured is from that series. Stay tuned for a closer look.

DC Life had a strong showing at Project LV. Seen above are the Holiday 2010 Admiral Sport sneakers in three clean nubuck and leather color ups. Striped linings keep things moving forward while throwback DC blue and white accents and “griptape” tongue logos hold onto a bit of history. Look for these to receive the red carpet treament near the end of the year.
