Shoes Master dropped by the DC Fall 2010 Preview and grabbed a sneak peek at the next installment in SSUR’s on going series with the skate footwear brand. Coming in as part of the DC Double Label Projects collection, the CAVIAR CARTEL colors are inspired by SSUR’s russian roots. Black (shoe) represents the black market trade of caviar. The red (shoe) represents the soviet iron curtain.On the heel are a pair of cross sharks. Representing the shark infested waters the caviar trade ships traveled across. We’ll give you a better look when we can.

DC unveils their fourth collaborative shoe with NYC’s Hotel on Rivington. This time they worked on the new DC LIFE Admiral Sport in black leather.

The model has been customized with a laser etch of “HOTEL ON RIVINGTON” on the outsole, a design treatment that pays homage to the iconic side-wall bold DCSHOECOUSA lettering on the classic DC LYNX skate model that originally launched just over a decade ago now. The First release of the LYNX was in 1998 along with the announcement of Josh Kalis joining the team. A special red strap, a key color from the hotel, completes the custom shoe.

These are exclusive to hotel staff, so touch up that resume if you want a pair. More looks after the j.

We already showed you the new Admiral from the DC Life Collection and the high top sneaker was very well received. Another highlight in the upcoming collection is the low top Ensign. The sneaker features multi technical paneling, premium panache boot style leather, engineered laser perforation and an adjustable suede strap. For Spring 2010 the sneaker comes in two colorways.

Following the DC Life Holiday 2009 preview from last week, here’s a look into the forthcoming Hi-Visibility or Lo-Visibility Pack. The Admiral TX and Xander TX are both treated to durable ballistic nylon uppers in a choice of fluorescent lime or all black. “Be noticed. Or not.” Available soon at select DC Life accounts.

The collaboration from Sixpack France and DC carries over to Spring 2010. After previously working with Akroe, Sixpack this time chose to work with designer PMKFA on the collection, which consists of sneakers, t-shirts and a New Era Cap. In terms of sneakers the French label went for the Admiral 6Pak and the Sector 6Pak. In line with the rest of the capsule collection, both the footwear and the New Era cap come in light grey with subtle details. You can expect a release Spring 2010.

DC Life hits us with a teaser of their forthcoming Holiday 2009 Collection. The highly-visible and even more highly-coveted collection features unique materials including grip tape, shearling, and cement just to name a few. The premium, limited line from DC is also boasts vibrant color and design applications for functional footwear. More to follow in the coming weeks.

We give you an early preview of the DC Life Admiral Sport “Chrome”. The sneaker is part of the Spring 2010 collection and has already gotten lots of positive feedback when we presented it to you in black and white leather options a while back. This Chrome version comes with action leather/nubuck upper, nylon strap and shearling fur lining. Look out for a release January 2010. Update: We just found out that the sneaker is already available at Journeys.

For Holiday 2009 DC collaborated with Rocksmith as part of their Life Collection. Rocksmith worked on the Sector 7 TX sneaker. The sneaker features a ballistic nylon upper and they kept it pretty subtle overall, with some accents on the lining and ankle padding. Matching the sneaker, Rocksmith presents their Ballistic down vest. Look out for a release later this year.

Previewed in Vegas, we now have the official info on the first collaboration between DC and renowned Singaporean design collective RoyaleFam. The co-op boasts three shoes, a pair of board shorts, two t-shirts and two hats all designed by SBTG. The design inspiration comes from the legendary skateboard crew called the “Circus of Mutants” who were famous in Singapore in the 80’s and 90’s. While SBTG himself was not a member of this crew he was chosen to tell the story of the “Circus”. This crew included “The Fly” (along with other local legends “The Bat”, “Scorpion”, and “Frankenstein”) and as such the first installment of the “Circus of Mutants” is based on Singaporean legend Lucas Ng – “The Fly”. The collection will officially hit select skateboarding stores worldwide in January 2010.

Working once again with famed Singapore-based sneaker customizer, SBTG, DC Life presents a capsule collection of collaborative gear under the Royalefam umbrella. Inspired by SBTG’s childhood skate gang, Circus of Mutants, the shoes were done up in a black and green colorway with familiar SBTG details and an abundance of Fly imagery. Don’t quote us on this, but apparently, each skater in the crew had their own nickname, with SBTG’s being “The Fly.” The capsule release includes 5-panel cap, snapback, boardshort and t-shirt components. The boardshorts stand out as especially fly to us. Hits select accounts for Spring 2010.
