Each season superFishal introduces a new series of three collaborative board graphics which are screenprinted in small limited editions. The concept is to take two artists with completely different styles and have them converge to make a really unique board graphic. This Fall/Winter season sees Jeremy Fish collide with skater/artist Andy Howell to form ‘The Spirit’ deck, which features a couple of Jeremy’s classic figures set in a back drop of Howell’s intricate brush strokes. In his collaboration with Mike Giant entitled ‘The Serpent’ we see Jeremy’s style mashed into Mike’s tattoo based creations. And Jeremy’s conspiring with Scrawl Collective’s WIll Barras leads to a board called ‘The Stack’ which features the motorcycle version of Noah’s Ark.

Jeremy Fish’s most recent New Era collaboration has also arrived. The “Bunny Head” generated some smiles amongst the crew when we were at MAGIC. It is a genuinely amusing design.

When we previewed first images of the Huf x Dr. Romanelli collaboration we liked the results a lot, but it was nothing out of the ordinary, or at least something expected from two strong partners. Today we see the complete range of this collaboration and we are very impressed, as the collection is much larger than we expected it to be.

The collection consists of Dr. Romanelli one off jackets, handmade winter boots, fur caps, down vests, skate decks and t-shirts – all pieces reflect the outdoors/hunting theme perfectly and all design is on point. The details are very impressive, including multiple patches on each jacket, as well as great designs on all t-shirts and skate decks.

We present you the Acapulco Gold Fall/Winter 2008 collection. The New York brands has always understood well creating collections with strong messages, while keeping the design subtle and on point. That is also the case in their new Fall/Winter 2008 offering.

The collection consists of t-shirts, caps and skateboards. The t-shirt offering is large and each design comes in several colorways. T-Shirts and caps hind at housing names and their respective nicknames. Caps range from New Era caps to 5-panel caps and snapback caps, all looking very good this season. “Aurum”, the slogan featured on some New Era caps, is latin and stands for Gold, going along the on-going higher education theme of the brand. The skatedecks make as usual a strong statement, this season a take on the financial crisis with a nice addition of sarcasm to it.

Goods from Seattle collaborated with Manik Skateboards on a series of decks. The graphics on the deck fuse the classic Goods logo with the large Manik logo in gold on a pinstripe background. The decks come in three colorways and are available at Goods now.

Nineteen Ninety-Three was a very special year: Jenna Jameson launched her career in the adult entertainment industry, and the Zoo York Institute was established in New York City. Now fifteen years later, Zoo York and Jenna are proud to announce an exclusive collaboration skateboard deck illustrated by The CollaBros. Limited to just 500 decks, they will be available through select skateshops only starting at the end of October.

For the Off Off Bowery exhibition, that recently took place at Colette, curator Aaron Bondaroff brought together an impressive group of artists. Colette is currently hosting a pop-up store with goods created for the exhibition. We already presented to you Supreme and WTAPS collaboration t-shirts.

Here comes now the collectible Aaron Bondaroff “Dollar” skate deck. It comes in four versions and is now available at Colette.

To complete their Fall 2008 collection, Huf has just released a series of hard goods and lighters. The hard goods consists of Spitfire wheels, Thunder trucks and skateboard decks. Some BIC logo lighters also made their way into the collection.

Born in Chicago, Christopher Wool relocated to New York City in the early 1970’s. During that time he studied painting and worked as an artist’s assistant to Joel Shapiro. In 1984, Wool had his first solo show at the legendary Cable Gallery. Working mainly in black and white, Wool works with a mixture of painterly styles. His earlier works include tightly controlled, gestural drip paintings and canvases utilizing decorative rollers on white backgrounds to produce floral and gate-like images.

In 1987, Christopher Wool began his black and white stenciled word paintings. Wool carefully chose words and phrases for these pieces and the letter composition he applied set his work apart from the stencil art category. Examples like “Riot”, “Prankster”, or “Sell The House Sell The Car Sell The Kids” force viewers to go one step beyond reading into deciphering.

Since his first one-man show Christopher Wool’s work has been shown at the Whitney Biennial 1989, Museum of Modern Art, New York, the New Museum of Art Lucerne, Switzerland, and Contemporary Museum of Art, Los Angeles.

This Fall, Supreme will release a series of three limited edition skateboard decks designed by Wool.

Available at the NY, LA and online shops on October 2nd. Available in Japan on October 4th.

As reported by us yesterday, the Supreme Online Store opened its doors again yesterday. Also in there were the "Stained Logo" decks. Good news are, that they go for only 49 USD and they are still available in overall four colorways.

We have seen Alife NYC skate decks before, but this time they worked with Girl Skateboards on a deck. They worked with a lot of their signature graphics, including the eyes and the repetitive Alife logo.

The deck is now available at Standard and go for a reasonable 65 USD.
