Stussy Deluxe Spring ‘08 Collection

stussy deluxe spring 08 collection - highsnobiety
A few weeks ago we gave you a first look at some Stussy Deluxe Spring 2008 items. Here now some more of the collection, which just landed at Haven.
Stussy continues to present a rather subtle collection, concentrating less on graphics and more on cuts and quality. Hoodies comes with stripes or with the DLXE print, jackets are sharp and shirts come in classic patterns. In terms of branding you can most of the time only find a purple embroidered dot under the neck. The line takes its inspiration from Japan and fuses it with western styles.
We like the collection, but think that Stussy still has some communication to do and explain to the customer out there why they should pay elevated prices for this new collection. Check out some more styles after the jump.

Deluxe x Cause Winter Boots

Deluxe x Cause Boots
Japanese brands Deluxe and Cause recently collaborated on a winter boot. Cause is well known for its comfort and quality on the Japanese market, thus Deluxe could not have chosen a better partner.
The collaboration boot comes in black and beige and features a mixed material upper – leather, suede and short horse hair around the ankle. Since all three materials come in the same color, the boot still keeps a classic look, while being different from what is mostly around from other brand.
These are now available at Dedue. After the jump the other colorway.

Stussy Deluxe Fall ‘07 Collection

20 September 2007, 16.27 | Posted in Fashion | No comments »

RTEmagicC stussydel fall07 1.jpg Stussy Deluxe Fall 07 Collection
The Stussy Deluxe collection was only introduced a little while ago, and while applying the Stussy aesthetics, the line offers more high-end materials as well as fits. Driven by a rising of the bar, best exemplified by Japanese streetwear brands that have long offered high end takes on street classics, the Stussy Deluxe collection has a quiet subtlety and wide reaching appeal. It is the perfect collection for the more grown-up Stussy customer. First pieces of the new collection have landed in stores, thus we can show some of them now.
The Stussy Deluxe Fall 2007 collection offers a very nice range of shirts, mostly with patterns, plaid or polka dots. In terms of cut they are more fitted than other Stussy collections and we especially like the branding or actually the little branding. On Stussy Deluxe shirts you will only find a small purple dot under the neck in the  back. Definitely a nice touch. Other pieces in the new collection include cashmere knitwear, down vests and also down jackets. There is definitely more to come soon. Pics via Norse/Haven.
Check out the line-up of shirts, knitwear and jackets that has been so far released after the jump.
