For Summer 2011 once again Stussy and Levi’s get together. In this latest series of products, Stussy chose items that have disappeared from Levi’s store shelves over the last years and customized them with their own aesthetic. The outcome is a custom capsule collection, featuring 505 denim, shorts, shirts and pants. All items feature special embroidery and patch details. Look out for a release this week.

The trucker jacket series, celebrating some of the biggest names from the Art in the Streets exhibition has produced some real quality, and this is no exception. I’m an unabashed fan of ESPO, so take that for what it is worth, but I’m genuinely quite impressed by MOCA’s corporate sponsorship surrounding the exhibition as well.”

From Selectism – “Levi’s Made & Crafted, the design focused collection from the Levi’s XX division, brings some nicely detailed pieces for Autumn 2011. Manufacture, not surprisingly, is placed at a premium, and the goods are crafted in some of the finest factories in the world. The shirting, leather motorcycle jackets, bags, and accessories are all made in Italy; and, new for Made & Crafted is special men’s capsule line of Cone selvage denim that is made in California.”

Australian fashion label ksubi, celebrate the return of their coloured denim range, with a short film directed by Daniel Askill starring models Bambi Northwood-Blythe, Cisco Gorrow and Heidi Harrington-Johnson. Using a Phantom camera, Askill captures the action at 1500 frames per second. Check it out!

Acapulco Gold has released the second part of their Spring 2011 Collection. When it comes to iconic inspiration, clean design and good choice of pieces, Acapulco Gold seems hard to beat. In every collection there are a couple of solid pieces and strong graphic t-shirts. Their slogans are still among the strongest in the market.

As part of this second delivery the New York brand presents new caps, t-shirts, denim, as well as a nice looking summer varsity jacket.

Hong Kong label CLOT keeps the collaborative train rolling with the Levi’s Nevada Jacket.

“Focused around the use of a distinct vintage wash, the Nevada Jacket is a play off the trademark trucker style Levi’s has become widely recognized for. Maintaining its core aesthetic in tact, the piece remains quite tame as opposed to past CLOT releases, strictly envisioned as a key historic style remade for modern times! Key highlights for this new design include burn marks and distressed details throughout the font, back and sleeves, along with intricate torn detailing around the collar and a gold CLOT patch on the rear yoke.”

While the recent CLOT Levi’s jeans were a bit much for our tastes, this one is right on the money. Available 1, 2011.

Wrangler jeans presents their new Spring/Summer 2011 campaign, entitled “Stunt”. Shot by Cass Bird at the Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, they have taken the word stunt quite literally. The outcome is a series of images with models jumping out of glass windows, burning cars and more.

In a new collaboration fragment design has teamed up with Vanquish to work on a capsule denim collection. Featured in the line are heavily distressed styles, coming in several washes with print details. For our taste there is a little too much going on in the collection.

CLOT will release their latest Levi’s collab on March 3, 2011. The WWIII Denim features various combat influences details such as gun and hand prints, burn hem, luminous paint marks, an RGB paint strip, savage tears, zipper side pockets and functional D-rings. There’s way too much going on here for our taste – in terms of both the concept and product itself – but we’re sure they’ll find their fans.
