Building on the “For the Love of the Game” motto that is prevalent throughout the World Basketball Festival and a constant theme within the Brand, Jordan Brand will be releasing limited edition figurines of Team Jordan athletes to be sold exclusively at iconic sneaker store Atmos, in Harlem, NY.

The limited edition run of 18 figurines (6 Chris Paul, 6 Dwyane Wade and 6 Carmelo Anthony) are made from a special photopolymer, each with custom lasered graphics and available in the University Blue colorway, paying homage to Jordan Brand’s North Carolina roots.

CLOT reveals their latest Disney exclusive from the collaborative Man Is In The Forest pop-up store. The iconic plastic Toy Soldier, as seen in the Toy Story films, is reproduced in Red with a small CLOT logo hit on the base. “A good soldier never leaves a man behind.”

Well known for his googly-eyed”Rangeas” toy monster, Tokyo artist T9G collaborates with Japanese label UNTOLD on a flocked black version of the figure. Look for an October release at UNTOLD accounts.

A Bathing Ape’s signature camo patterns and Baby Milo characters are translated onto traditional Japanese Daruma Dolls for an August 7th exhibition at BAPE GALLERY Kyoto. All pieces are handmade by local artisans.

The Mickey Mouse Be@rbrick from Medicom Toy is inflated to 1000% and hit with the gloved “shaka” as seen on the CLOT x Disney tee. Look for this on Saturday at the new “Man is in the Forest” Disney x CLOT store in Shanghai.

Sideshow Toy launch a half scale Iron Man Mark III Maquette figure sculpted from the original CG mold as shown in the Iron Man II film. “Combining polystone, fiberglass, metal alloy and other material, the skin-like texture as shown in the film is handcrafted to the best effect. The joints and helmet interface are painted with a shiny finish, highlighted with the LED-lit eyes and heart. Individually painted and finished, each Mark III figure is a one-off — a signature of Sideshow.” This thing is huge.

MINDstyle gives us a first look at one of their latest Disney collaborations. Winnie The Pooh’s pal Tigger gets in on the Year of the Tiger celebration as “Year of the Tigger”. This art toy collectible (ATC) figure will be available in select stores in late June 2010.

Another upcoming Be@rbrick release of interest is showcased here. Constructed from superalloy (it’s metal!), the toy features the iconic Eames dot pattern over a yellow base. Look for these at the Medicom Toy 2010 Exhibition in early July. Limited to 700 pieces.
