Medicom Toy previews the latest Disney toy from their Vinyl Collectible Dolls (VCD) series. Dressed as Jack Skellington (of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas fame) Mickey Mouse rocks out in a pin stripe tux and corpse paint. Look for this to drop for June 1st.

Hong Kong toy designer Tim Tsui presents his latest figure, “Da Sturm Tornado Edition”. The spray can wielding primate is limited to 150 pieces and is now available at Team Zero.

Medicom Toy tries their hand at MMA (or is it boxing? maybe wrestling? whatever), aligning with Italian design house Tokidoki on the “Fighter” Be@rbrick pictured above. Scheduled to release this Saturday, February 27th at select Medicom doors.

Upper Playground, The Loyal Subjects and Sam Flores team up once again to release a new blue color of the Wyger figure. Working within Flores’ signature aesthetic, the Blue Wyger incorporates Upper Playground’s iconic Walrus imagery to commemorate Upper Playground’s 10-year anniversary. The 8″ tall figure is now available exclusively at Upper Playground’s online store in a limited edition of 250.

Artist Amanda Visell has created one of our favorite Kid Robot pieces in some time. Half-toy, half-seat – the Log Stool is constructed of fiberglass and measures in at 17-inches tall by 14-inches wide. Unseen details include a KR + AV engraving on the back. Available at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com, and select retailers on March 4th. Limited to 100 worldwide. $300 USD.

Kaws latest vinyl figure sees the renowned artist align with Masamichi Katayam and his architecture firm Wonderwall. The toy, based on a previously released t-shirt, comes in two versions – black/grey/yellow and red/grey/black – and measures in at 22cm tall. Look for these to drop sometime in February 2010.

Following their Kubrick, Be@rbrick and other Where The Wild Things are figures, Medicom Toy releases a “Real Action Heroes” version of Max. Dialing in as the largest WTWTA toy thus far, RAH 220 Max measures 26cm (approx. 10 inches) tall. Now available from colette.

UK retailer Offspring worked with Converse on the new 2 Strap All Star Hi, in two loud colorways. The sneaker blends patent leather, perforated leather and solid leather to interesting effect. The good people at Offspring and Converse have also produced two matching Offspring Toys that will be given away free with every Converse purchase in Offspring stores while stocks last. Launching in store and online Saturday December 5th, 2009.

Coarse Toys unveils their latest creation. The new release consists of “the colossal paw! and a freshly hatched noop, robed in his heavenly soft paw! suit. The pair comes in glowing spring colors, put to sleep between two cotton pillows, every one embroidered with the individual running number. Safely packed in a hand crafted wooden box with a monkey rabbit nose handle and enclosed with an elastic band. Each set includes one coarse family and friends application card.” The set is limited to 200 pieces and will be available January 7, 2010. A limited Christmas presale takes place at coarsehkg online store on December 10, 2009.
