Today we attended the runway show of the new Dior Homme Spring/Summer 2012 Collection in Paris. Kris van Assche presented a sharply tailored collection, exclusively using white, beige, black and grey tones with outfits mostly styled entirely tonal. In terms of aesthetic the designer styled work clothing in a more casual way, yet with very sharp lines. Most models were also outfitted with hats, adding even more casual flair to the line.

From their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection Dior Homme has released the Sweat Sneaker. The low top sneaker features both fleece and leather on the upper. The dark indigo washed fleece is accented with black leather and metallic silver accents on the heel. The sneaker is now available from Restir.

For Spring 2011 Dior Homme has released their iPhone Case in a new dark navy colorway. The case comes in a shiny premium leather, featuring embossed stripes and a small embossed “CD” logo. The iPhone case is now available from Restir.

Dior Homme presents from their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection the new Sweat High Sneaker. The sneaker features a mix of white leather and fleece on the upper, with accents set in navy leather and red. Overall a clean looking summer high top, now available from Restir.

For the first time Dior Homme starts embracing digital media and has thus worked for Spring/Summer 2011 on content specifically made available to blogs and other online media. Here we present Kris Van Assche’s project with Willy Vanderperre.

“Kris Van Assche commissioned Belgian photographer Willy Vanderperre to create this rough, unpolished video to showcase his Spring Summer 2011 collection for Dior Homme.

Model Victor Nylander wears several iconic silhouettes that encapsulate Kris’s languid vision for the house – highlighting his appreciation for deconstructed cuts, noble materials and couture finishes.”

We take a first look at the upcoming Dior Homme iPad Case, releasing as part of their Spring 2011 Collection. The case comes in book format and will be available in two material options – black tie leather or classic coated canvas. One side of the case is a notepad, the other one holds the iPad. Look our for a release December 2010.

A nice looking belt has released from the Dior Homme Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The W Color Belt is made of canvas and premium leather, which makes it easy to wear with lots of outfits, both casual and more sporty. The belt is now available in two colorways from restir.

A solid new colorway of the German military inspired Dior Homme low top sneaker has released for Fall/Winter 2010. The sneaker comes with a white leather base, navy suede details and dark red accent stripe. It is now available from restir.

Yesterday we previewed the new Lanvin Fall/Winter 2010 Sneaker Collection. Today we take an in-depth look at the footwear of Dior Homme for next season. The brand keeps some of their popular styles, but does not sit still and introduces some interesting new styles as well. Most interesting to us are the integration of outdoor boot characteristics into their sneaker concepts. The collection will drop at premium retailers around the globe at the end of the summer.
