Celebrating the new Year of the Dragon, CLOT has teamed up with MINDstyle on a new Mickey Mouse vinyl toy. The ‘Mickey Silk’ sees the iconic Disney character stand in its usual pose, while wearing a signature CLOT silk top. Further branding of the collaboration has been placed on the bottom of the feet of the toy.

The 7 Inch figure will see an official release on January 20th, 2012.

Medicom gets together with Disney to produce a series of Bearbrick toys, all dressed in Christmas themes. The Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy, Goofy, Winnie The Pooh and other Santa versions will all go into a special lottery in Japanese convenience and electronics stores nationwide. The official launch is today, November 14th, 2011.

SOPHNET has once again worked with Disney and DC Comics as part of their Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. After already having released t-shirts earlier in the season, they now present knitwear. The crewneck sweaters feature Superman and Batman logos, as well as Mickey Mouse. The sweaters will be available from Sophnet retailers starting October 1st, 2011.

In an interesting collaboration Tokyo bike shop W-Base has teamed up with XLarge and Disney on a series of t-shirts. Together they present the ‘Bike Ride Donald’ and ‘Bike Ride Goofy’ tees, each coming in overall three colorways. A release is scheduled for September 2nd, 2011, at XLarge stores and at W-Base.

Of course Supreme also presents new skate decks with their new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. One of Disney’s most iconic characters makes an appearance on the new decks – Snow White. A bit of an ironic image to go onto a skate deck, but Supreme is always up for something new and different. Look out for these with all the other new goods, this coming Saturday. The decks come in three colorways.

You have to love or hate CLOT for these kind of things. As they continue to work with Disney on various projects, Mickey Mouse is at the moment the core theme, as we have seen with the Travelling Mickey Exhibition.

In terms of product, you will see the release of the new CLOT Dynasty ‘Mickey Mouse Patch’ Denim this week. Featuring overall 11 patches, all with the iconic cartoon character, as well as a large print on the back, along with added studs and embroidery details, we can safely say that much more would not have fitted onto the jeans. CLOT will release them on August 6th, 2011.

Jam Made Home have teamed up with Disney to work on this self-winding mechanical watch. Based on military styling, representing a gimmick watch, Mickey Mouse carries off a variety of playful facial expressions with precise movement. His look changes daily and weekly changes the cycle. This watch is available to pre-order now from ZoZo Japan.

From the SOPHNET Fall/Winter 2011 Collection we can preview the ‘Mickey Mouse’ watch today. Previously we have seen the label already collaborate with Disney on some Mickey Mouse themed t-shirts, also featuring the Mickey soccer graphic, now placed on the above watches, which come in two colorways. The CLOT x Disney ‘Man in the Forest’ Travelling Mickey exhibition recently had its first stop in Shanghai. CLOT asked a series of artists and designers to present custom versions of the iconic cartoon character. The line-up of participating artists includes Dr. Romanelli, Madsaki, Andre, Cassette Playa, Mr. Cartoon, Eric So, Mr. Azuma, CLOT themselves and other outstanding artists.
