On March 12th Dita Eyewear will be opening a pop-up store at On Pedder in Hong Kong. They will also use this special occasion to launch their new Gold Collection.

“Dita has developed custom mirrored lenses using authentic 24k white and yellow gold. Dita has created these lenses by using an extraordinary and privileged technology that takes the precious metal and compresses it between two lenses preventing the common problem of scratched mirrored lenses. The two fused lenses prevent the gold mirror from being rubbed or scratched off; creating a lens that will not lose its luster.

Dita will offer this exclusive lens technology in the following frames: Dynasty, Voulez Vous, Ambassador, and Midnight Special. Global production will be limited to 75 pieces per style in each lens color. The frame colors will match the lens colors.”

Dita is releasing new models in their Sun Collection 2009. We present you here a look at the Spectator and the Selector models, each coming in a variety of colorways this season.

The Spectator comes in Black with a Smoke Back, Smoke with a Black Back and Tortoise with a Burnt Brown Back. The Selector comes in Black with a Black Swirl Back, D.Tortoise with a Coffee-Caramel Back and Honey Tortoise (also in White Swirl, but only available in Japan) Both frames feature Polarized Glass lenses as opposed to their standard CR-39 (synthetic glass) lenses. The glasses are all manufactured in Japan.

Here is a first look at one of the new frames from the Dita Spring 2009 collection, entitled “The Statesman”. The name perfectly discribes the looks of the frame, which nicely puts together a more heavy Wayfarer with a lighter metal based design. “The Statesman” comes in overall four colorways and is already now available for purchase.

We showed you some images of this collaboration already, here now a closer look at this high profile collaboration. Visvim produced with Dita two pairs of sunglasses, one with a black fleece and the other one with a dark tortoise frame, each coming in a nice premium leather pouch. The sunglasses will be released outside of Japan as well, but only at premium retailers and in Dita Legends (flagship) stores. Dita will not offer them in their online store.

Hong Kong’s CLOT got together with DITA to work on the Midnight Special sunglasses. The outcome is a pair of red sunglasses with the CLOT logo featured on the lenses. The sunglasses are part of the CLOT C.S.A. Fall/Winter 2008 collection.

They come nicely packaged in the DITA box and a custom CLOT dust bag. Juice in Hong Kong and the CLOT online store will be releasing the limited edition sunglasses on October 6th.

Silly Thing is once again at it. After we recently presented you their upcoming Undercover Jack Purcell collaboration, we show you today a first images of their soon to be released Dita sunglasses. Inspired by the classic Moscot frame, the sunglasses will be released on the 1rst of October. Via TK.

An interesting collaboration comes from Visvim together with Dita on a couple of sunglasses. We could not see a better fit, as both brands stand out in their respectivemarkets for the immense quality presented in the product, thus a perfect get together.

Visvim chose two color choices for this collaboration, black fleck and tortoise, and added to each pair a Visvim signature vegetable dyed leather case.

According to Hypebeast the Visvim x Dita sunglasses are now available at FIL and Dita Legend stores in Nagoya and Daikanyama.

Dita made 10 red versions of their popular Midnight Special model for Lupe Fiasco’s Tour. To celebrate the success of the tour they decided to release the remaining 5 pieces of the style in their online store.

Premium eyewear brand Dita has launched Dita Legends last week. Dita Legends is their online store, which carries both the latest collections by the brand as well as exclusive product that is only released in their flagship store.

The earthquake in China has taken many lives to date. Charity organizations from around the globe are trying their best to help out and it is nice seeing people in our business also acting and trying to do everything possible in their means to improvethe current situation. We have already presented you the upcoming Nike Tennis Classic x Fragment Design "Panda Pack", that will be auctioned off for the occasion and here we give you a look at the Yoka toy by adFunture. 
Adfunture got together with a strong set of partners to make this happen and collaborated on Yoka with Dita, Staple Design, Suitman, Puma, Black Cross, Revelator and Gue on this panda toy. 
The toy is 10" tall and will go on sale for 100 USD as of June 12th at the adFuntureWorkshop . All proceeds will be donated.
