“Based on the DONUTS album concept, these are demos, out-takes and unreleased gems from various records I worked on before and during the making of LUCKY BOY, my next album. Stuff comes from MEGALOPOLIS, 113 DEGRES and SHEITAN soundtrack mainly, but some is older too. Hope you enjoy these rough mixes and un-polished sounds, as I pay hommage to ‘one of the greatest minds to ever make beats,’ Mr James Yancey, better known as JAY DEE, also know as DILLA.” – Mehdi, 2006

As usual Ed Banger Records is at it again and does not stand still. After ‘Let The Children Techno’, the partnership with the Adidas brand and the new albums from Justice and SebastiAn, the label pulled out of the hat ‘The Bee Sides’, a collector’s box to be released on April 16th. The mini album, produced in limited edition (500 copies worldwide!), contains five previously unreleased tracks out on five 7″, made by the thoroughbred of the label: Justice, SebastiAn, Breakbot, DJ Mehdi and Busy P. For sure an interesting album to pick up.
