These days its hard to imagine living without a digital camera. Everybody always seems to have one around and that is most of the time a good thing.
We have always been fans of quality digital cameras with a bit of a retro look, lots of options, but when needed the camera can do it all by itself. In that category are most notably the Panasonic Lumix range, Ricoh, Canon G-Series and a couple of others. We want it compact, but full of options and all these cameras offer that.
Now Panasonic just released their new DMC-LX3K. From the look we definitely like it, especially the added grip that the LX2 did not have. The Leica technology also does not disappoint and the camera comes with the a 24mm wide-angle – perfect. Off of the sheet it all sounds good. We have not tested it, but it is worth checking out, if you are looking for a new digital camera.
