Japanese label Wacko Maria aligns with storied down vest maker Rocky Mountain Featherbed on an of-the-moment leopard print piece. Accented with a black leather shoulder yoke, the leopard vest features a tonal “Guilty Parties” embroidery on the back alongside some well-angled pockets.

Selectism scooped us on this banger from Penfield and Edifice. The limited release celebrates Edifice’s 15th anniversary and comes in the form of an 80/20 goose down vest. It contains goose down insulation, 100% leather shoulder yoke, internal buffalo plaid lining and two exterior hand warmer pockets. Available in four colorways – black, grey, grey/blue plaid and grey/red plaid. Now available on the Japanese market.

Taking a detail-oriented approach, the pieces were styled in a distinctive America meets Japan aesthetic, with mastermind’s staple black on black vibe taking center stage. For the second time this year Dr. Romanelli teams up with Fruition Las Vegas. This time the two are making sure you are outfitted for the colder months. Dr. Romanelli brought his exquisite cutting techniques to the table and vintage store Fruition once again did an excellent job sourcing materials for the collection.

The outcome is a series of one-off down vests, mostly featuring vintage Coca-Cola branding. Each piece looks different and interesting by itself.

A nice and solid down vest is coming from Nexus VII this season. It comes in black and in hounstooth and we especially like that it is buttoned, instead of a zipper. Also the vest comes with Windstopper material, making sure that you are warm this Fall.

First pieces of the iDiom Fall/Winter 2008 collection have been released at Japanese retailers. The first drop includes the packable down vest and down jacket. Both come in a black and green colorway, quilted, and feature all the technical details that one would expect from the brand.

Shinsuke Takizawa shows us the latest pieces of the SVG Archives line by Neighborhood. They present a down vest and a coach jacket, both made out of Gore-Tex Windstopper materials and featuring a Thinsulate inner lining. Both pieces feature prints and tags all-over.

Head Porter Plus released these last couple of weeks most of their Fall/Winter 2007 outerwear. In the line-up you find down jackets, down vests, varsity jackets and a pea coat. Each piece comes in a line-up of 5 colors. Both the varsity jacket and the pea coat feature a warm quilted inner lining. Just like we are used from the brand, the pieces stay simple in terms of look, but all come in premium quality and have a great attention to detail.

Since 2006 Nike and Japanese retailer Beams create collaborative collections. The latest one just released and consists of a windrunner, down vest, cap and longsleeve t-shirt. The theme this season is polka dots. The design of the collection is made up of different size polka dots. Most of the collection is black and white, but some color also gets mixed into it.
