Andrew Bunney gives us a first teaser of the upcoming collaboration between Dr. Martens and uniform experiment. The collaborative boot will be released for Spring/Summer 2010. We will of course keep you posted!

One of the most interesting boots from the Dr. Martens x Raf Simons Capsule Collection has been released. The 8 Hole Boot comes in a two-tone black/brown design and is now available at Browns.

Some nice new shoes are releasing as part of the Dr. Martens Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The 1461 3-Eye Shoe comes in three suede colorways with nice color accents, giving this heritage style an interesting updated look. Traditional Z welted construction and PVC outsole remains for Doc’s classic comfort. All three are now available for from tokishirazu.

Following the premium leather versions of the Dr Martens 8 Hole Boot, Raf Simons has released his much louder metallic version. The boots’ silhouette remains untouched but the metallic silver upper gives this classic look a whole new feel. You definitely won’t be seeing any skinheads in these. Now available at Browns.

Dr. Martens have launched their first-ever pop-up shop in Seattle, WA. Given the brand’s ties to youth culture since the 60s, Dr. Martens was drawn to the city’s vibrant independent culture and influential music scene. The shop itself takes inspiration from Dr. Martens industrial origins with boots and shoes displayed on wooden pallets, sitting against exposed brick and raw wood floors. Neon yellow lights provide a contemporary touch. Definitely a must-see for those in the area.

From the Dr. Martens x Raf Simons Collection comes the 8 Hole Boot. The designer kept it simple and classic, adding premium materials to the boot, yet keeping its overall clean looking silhouette and look. The boot is now available from Oki-Ni.

After a small teaser a while back, we can give you a more detailed view of the new Dr. Martens x Jean-Paul Gaultier collaboration boots. The boots come in black and white and feature a diamond cut-out design. As a base the 14 eye boot was used in leather. Look out for the boots at retailers this Fall/Winter 2009 season. Via Vogue.

Dr. Martens iconic 8-eye boot will be turning 50 next year, but with slight tweaks it looks like a fresh, new product. For Spring/Summer 2010, the brand will release a series of 1460 boots in school colours with white soles. The upper material may look like canvas, but is actually TecTuff Express leather, so you can expect durability and water-resistant properties.
Details include contrast triple-stitching, flat white laces, silver eyelets, and a white heel loop with black “Air Wair with Bouncing Soles” slogan. The boots come in seven colours: ecru, yellow, red, purple, blue, green and black.

In the latest installation of the popular Guitar Hero series of video games, you’ll be able to outfit your avatar with a variety of branded products from the likes of Converse, Vans and Dr. Martens. Those of you familiar with the Tony Hawk series know this is nothing new for Activision, however; this round they’ve taken it one step further and are offering styles that cross over into retail.

For this project, Dr. Martens outfitted the iconic 14-Hole Boot with a simple leather guitar silhouette over the heel panel. For men, the boot comes in black or cherry leather with a white or black patent guitar, respectively. There’s no blatant Guitar Hero branding on the product, which is a big plus in our books. Keeping the famous yellow stitching was also a good move. Of course, includes Bouncing Air Wair soles. Guitar Hero 5 officially hits stores on September 11, 2009.

Out of the new Raf Simons x Dr. Martens Fall/Winter 2009 Collection, the 8 Hole Boot is probably the most subtle and easy to wear style. It comes this season in burgundy and in black. Made from solid leather, the boots have a reinforced heel and ankle, stitch detailed upper and burgundy stitched air wair sole; eyelets are brass. These limited edition boots have a Raf Simons x Dr. Marten branded pull tag at the top of the heel. They are now available in both colorways at Oki-Ni.
