Japanese retailer Beams has worked with Dr. Martens on a new boot. The classic 7-hole silhouette comes with wingtip accents in a black leather colorway. All in all a clean and solid version of the iconic boot, due to be released in the coming months.

Previously seen on the 8-Eye boot, TecTuff leather returns to the Dr. Martens line this summer on the Manton. With a hand similar to canvas, it’s hard to believe these are actually made of leather; but they are! The white laces, contrast stitching and “Bouncing Soles” all work to give the boots a look much different than your average Doc… though they do come in a black and gum version if you’re more of a traditionalist. This season, iconic footwear brand Dr. Martens presents their first clothing and accessories collection for both men and women. “Inspired by Dr. Martens’ extensive footwear heritage and focusing on the ideals of British workwear, Dr. Martens’ first line for S/S11 features both men’s and women’s clothing and accessories such as chambray and gingham shirts, printed and striped tees for men, alongside a cardigan with set off with a shawl collar.” Available in the UK at Dr. Martens retail stores and online at www.drmartens.com, as well as select stores throughout the US and Asia.

The Dr. Martens 3-hole 1461 shoe has arrived in two premium animal print make-ups for the summer. Offered in either faux Leopard (could be Cheetah) or Zebra hair, the classic ‘Bouncing Soled’ footwear is made in England to top quality standards. Check your local doors.

During the busy tradeshow cycle we managed to catch up with Damien Wilson, the creative director of Dr. Martens, to talk about their upcoming Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. From classics to new classics, Dr. Martens continues to re-invent themselves nicely. Enjoy!

Today we preview two upcoming wingtip styles from the Dr. Martens Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. We like the classic take of the brand, yet the casual appeal that the shoe has, due to the use of a rubber outersole. They present a black and a bordeaux colorway of it. These will be releasing this coming Fall.

For the second season in a row uniform experiment collaborates with Dr. Martens on some boots. For Spring/Summer 2011 they decided to go with the more casual and modern Monkey Boots. The boots come in black and brown and will be released later this season.

Not for the first time, Hong Kong retailer izzue collaborates with Dr Martens on a pair of 10-Hole Boots. This time they outfitted the boot with a wrap-around, pyramid-studded belt and an izzue star logo embossed on the heel collar. These should be available at izzue shortly.

In an interesting collaboration Dr. Martens worked for Fall/Winter 2011 with British Millerain on a Waxed Canvas Footwear Collection. The line-up includes a series of shoes – we are showing the lace-up, the brogue and the wingtip styles from the collection here above. Great choice of colors and materials, making these instant classics.

In time for the new Spring/Summer 2011 season, Dr. Martens presents their Lester and Langley silhouettes with all canvas uppers. Both the low top and the mid top shoes feature pale canvas uppers, contrasting white stitching, leather mid-soles and gum outer soles. Invincible has them all in stock now.
