Belgian fashion designer Dries Van Noten delivers a pair of mid top, vegetable tanned leather and nylon sneakers as part of his latest collection. As Tres Bien note “the burgundy and steel blue colors work very well together.” Made in Italy.

The shoes feature a black patent leather upper with a gum rubber sole and brogue detailing throughout. Of note is the fact that these are indeed a dress shoe with a sneaker sole and not simply a “smartened up” sneaker. Different. Now in stock at Browns.

In time for the Football Worldcup, SEPP, the magazine that mixes fashion and football, dropped their latest issue. We took a closer look at their collaboration with high fashion brands on team jerseys. The outcome is interesting. Participating brands include Giorgio Armani, Dries van Noten, Wunderkind, Marni, Versace (here above), Osklen, Paul Smith, Calvin Klein, Dirk Schonberger and others.

In welcoming the Spring/Summer 2010 season, JOYCE presents the much anticipated “Truly Gifted III” program starting from February 25th to March 14th.  After last season’s incredibly successful Truly Gifted program, in which they collaborated with Alexander McQueen to create an exclusive USB stick for JOYCE, they invited more designers to participate in their largest promotional program of the season.  Designers from Rick Owens, Dries Van Noten, Marni, Etro, Bless and Anna Sui specially designed limited iPhone cases for Hong Kong’s JOYCE.

Creative elements from the brands’ current collections are portrayed in the iPhone cases with Bless’ rock-shaped case as the most unique.  All cases are exclusively available at JOYCE and selected affiliated boutiques.
