Freshness reports about a new section in the Members Only Store by Nike that will be called innovation Kitchen, named after the same devision at Nike.
“In the upcoming days, NikeStore.com will be launching a section to the Members Only Store called the ‘Innovation Kitchen’, named after the the special group at Nike’s Campus devoted to innovation in products and development. The digital iK will sell exclusive products coming directly from the group in Beaverton, OR. The first product will be this premium Dunk Low in patent Leather with lasered details. The official name is the Tuxedo Dunk which is inspired by patent leather shoes usually worn by grooms. The interior features premium leather lining and insole. There will be very limited numbers available, only sizes 4-14, in whole sizes and a portion of every purchase goes toward research and development in Nike’s Innovation Kitchen.”
Hopefully more interesting products such as this Tuxedo Dunk Lo will be the result of this. Also if they already offer such specials to a large audience, we can probably expect even more impressive sneakers in the Tier 1 and Tier 0 ranges.
Check out more pictures of these Dunk Lo’s after the jump.
