Hennessy presents five new VS Cognac bottle designs through their Art of Blending program. The program that paired 5 musicians with 5 artists to reinterpret the iconic bottle. Who designed what? From left to right: Questlove and artist Aerosyn-Lex, A-Trak together with designer Dust La Rock, Steve Aoki and graphic artist Laundry aka PJ Richardson, Kid Sister with graffiti artist Fafi, and finally A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip with Spaceknuckle. Look for these at select stores.

Dust La Rock Artwork Now Available Online
In response to his well-received mixed-media solo art exhibition “Best Of The Beast,” Dust La Rock makes his debut collection of 17 original works and limited edition prints available for online purchase for the first time. Prices start at $500 for editions of 15 giclee prints on paper, up to $3000 for one of three “Best of the Beast” title pieces on canvas measuring 38” x 68”. Each piece is printed on archival quality materials, hand numbered and signed by the artist. Available now at www.dustlarock.com.

If you missed the opening of “Best of the Beast” in New York City, the show will be travelling to Commonwealth in
Norfolk, VA with an opening reception on July 11th. The show will run through July 30th. Check out the flyer after the jump.

The iconic creature used in various DJ A-Trak projects, and designed by artist Dust La Rock, has been crafted into an 8 inch plastic toy. Kid Robot will be releasing a limited run of 500 “Grateful Bear” figures, which come outfitted with a gold-plated A-Trak necklace, leather cuff, cotton sweatband, snowcapped igloo, fitted cap and wayfarers.

The A-Trak x Dust La Rock x Kidrobot “Grateful Bear” will be available July 2nd at Kidrobot and other select retailers for $50USD.

Known for his recent album cover work for Fool’s Gold artists including The Cool Kids, Kid Cudi, A-Trak, Trackademicks, and Kid Sister, Dust La Rock will be showcasing his work via an Art Exhibition this Thursday April 23rd in NYC. The show sponsored by Red Stripe and Fool’s Gold will feature live sets by DJ’s: Dave1(Chromeo), Nick Catchdubs, Vin Sol, and Queen Majesty. Doors open at 8pm until 12am at the Christopher Henry Gallery.
