Japanese brand nitraid presents their new nitraid SB sub-brand, under which they produced the “Raidback” skate DVD. The DVD has now been released and to commemorate the occasion, they also got together with New Era on the “Raidback” cap. The cap comes in black/red and in black/black and is now available at Deepinside Inc.

Detroit’s musical heritage is deeply tied to the City’s cultural climate. Susan E. Smith’s Dancing in the Street: Motown and the Cultural Politics of Detroit, assesses the motor cities most well known musical product. A complement to Smith’s book is High Tech Soul. Directed by Gary Bredrow, the film documents the development of techno music against the socio-economic backdrop of Detroit following the riots of 1967 and the economic downturn of the 1980s. High Tech Soul features interviews with the genres creators, and thanks to Carhartt is being released in limited editions. The DVD is now out at all Carhartt stores in Italy.
Stussy and SlamJam teamed up with the makers of the house music documentary “Unusual Suspects”, which was first released in 2005. The outcome is a pack of a special t-shirt, which comes together with the Italian version of the movie. Unfortunately the set is not for sale!
Sneaker Lover, a project conceived and directed by KIKS TYO creative director Shinichi Izaki (aka hobby:tech) and released by Goma Books, marks the first collaborative professional effort between its subject, Aki Hoshino and it’s photographer, Yasumasa Yonehara.
The release of this special-edition, collectable, idol DVD follows the release of the best selling Sneaker Lover photo book and features Aki Hoshino filmed by Yone.
