At Agenda, DVS gave us a closer look at their collaborative shoe with cycle-centric label Cadence. The Milan CTC comes in three colorways (yellow, black, or grey) and features a number of bike-specific features as outlined previously.

Altamont contributor Kenny Hoyle calls Carlsbad, California home, where “constant sunshine and a solid family upbringing nurtured this natural skateboarding wizard with a friendly demeanor.” This Spring 2010 sees a collaborative Altamont and DVS Munition sneaker in his honor. Featured with signature Altamont styling and a creme, eggplant and red color palette, this is one collab that makes perfect sense.

DVS announces their first cycling specific skate shoe. Designed in collaboration with influential cycling brand, Cadence, the Milan CTC (Classic Tribute Cycling) has several bike specific performance and durability features that have never been used on a traditional skate shoe including: reflective detailing for nocturnal visibility, a stiffer lasting board that reduces leg fatigue and increases pedal stroke strength, and a specially designed pattern on the tongue that protects laces from toe cage damage.

The shoe functions equally as well as a skate shoe with all the skate-specific features found in a standard Milan and will be available at select skate and bike retail stores in May 2010.

DVS continues their collaborative work with longtime DVS rider Chico Brenes and clothing label LRG. The Munition CT Mid is outfitted with a brown faux snake skin and nubuck upper, custom LRG branding, and a printed footbed with classic Chico graphics. Now available from DVS retailers around the world.

DVS releases a new colorway of the HUF Mid Throwback as part of the Original Intent collection. Keith Hufnagel’s signature vulcanized skate shoe features a burgundy and black suede upper with constrast gold stitching. Now available at Huf SF.

DVS hooked up a signature Keith Hufnagel T-Shirt as part of their Original Intent line. The shirt features a blown out sequence of Huf himself lacing a lofty backside flip. The tee comes in white on black or a louder fushia on white. Now in stock at Huf SF.

The story of Chico Brenes is truly a rags-to-riches tale. Coming to America as an illegal immigrant from Nicaragua, Chico was literally smuggled across the border into the United States. On the other side he began what would become a fifteen-year career as one of the most respected and well-liked skateboarders of all time.

DVS and LRG recently partnered up on a collaboration project that pays tribute to his story. The first installment of the project features a red-flannel Munition Mid shoe, a flannel button-up, a new era, and a t-shirt. The shoe comes with insole art featuring the Orange Vendor graphic used on Chico’s first World Industries Pro model designed by artist Mark McKee in 1992.

Diamond Supply Co. continues their ongoing relationship with DVS Shoes with the third incarnation of the Diamond Supply Co. x DVS J-Dubb 2.  Mixing black leather and black epi suede with green highlights, Jeron Wilson’s pro model is transformed into a Diamond Supply Co. classic. To accompany the release a black epi suede fitted, adorned with a DVS x Diamond insignia, was produced. An aqua and black colored shoe box rounds out the package.

The Diamond Supply Co. x DVS J-Dubb 2 is scheduled to drop next January, on Nicky Diamonds birthday.

We continue with more news coming from the Huf camp. Their long standing collaboration with DVS continues this season and they present the “Dirtbag Crew Pack”, a pack consisting of three Huf Runners, coming in excellent colorways, maybe the strongest we have seen so far from this collaboration.

VA will be releasing the Huf x DVS Original Intent “Dirtbag Crew” Pack on March 19th.

Today we can give you a closer look at the upcoming collaboration of Huf and DVS on the Doughboy. The canvas sneaker will be coming in five colorways and is simple, yet perfect for the warm days lying ahead. Huf will be releasing the sneaker on February 28th.
