After a first preview the other day, we can now give you a full look at Kris Van Assche’s bag collection for Eastpak. The collaboration updates Eastpak’s iconic bags with luxurious details and am urban feel. Overall there are 7 styles available in several colors. Scheduled for a Fall 2011 release.

Bag maker Eastpak presents a new collection, entitled Artist Studio. Giving 10 different Spanish artists free reign to customize their basic daypack, Eastpak offers a range of bold and exciting bags. Some are only wearable by the true attention-seekers (such as the above design by Bimba Bosé), but quite a few do work well as everyday options. These will be on show February 17, 2011 at Radikal Designs, Barcelona.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection, Sophnet has collaborated with Eastpak on their Authentic Woodstock backpack. The backpack drops in an all black and in a camouflage colorway and will be released this coming weekend, October 23rd.

Eastpak continues to work with London designer Christopher Shannon on a collaborative bag collection. Their Spring/Summer 2011 range features several backpacks, a tote bag and a small shoulder bag. The items take on a pastel color theme with a tonal CS pattern and various removable components and straps.

Here comes the next 30th anniversary collaboration from Stussy. They got together with Eastpak on their classic Daypack model. It comes in black nylon with royal bllue leather and suede accents. The backpack will be released on October 9th.

Another collaboration by Sophnet as part of their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection was with Eastpak on the Authentic Woodstock backpack. The backpack comes in an all black nylon/leather colorway, even featuring a matching tonal all black Eastpak logo tag. Look out for a release soon.

For Spring/Summer 2011 Eastpak continues to work with designer Gaspard Yurkievich on a bag collection, entitled “Sorry, We Are Not Sorry”. From messenger bags to duffle bags to backpacks, the collection offers a wide range of different styles, adding a premium offering to the inline collection by the bag maker. The collaboration was first showcased during Paris fashion week, as seen in the video here below.

The designer worked on several backpacks and duffle bags, featuring special use of materials, as well as tonal all-over embroideries. Premium retailers, including Chimp, will be getting the range soon.

Materials, as well as looks of the collection were inspired by classic Eastpak backpacks. The outcome is a range of sofas with matching backpacks.
