We bring you our latest in-house editorial production. This time we decided to take a closer look at the new Eastpak x Christopher Shannon Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. Our photographer Robert Wunsch and stylist Linda Ehrl made sure to put the collection in the right light. We produced a fun shoot with the collaborative product. We want to thank our wonderful model Minata and Sandra Haller from Styleheads for providing the collection.

In an interesting partnership design studio Quinze & Milan has gotten together with Eastpak to work on a furniture collection that incorporates the bags of the brand.

“the ‘built to resist’ collection combines quinze & milan shapes with authentic eastpak product characteristics, including bags, zippers, handles, colorful strong fabrics  and popular prints.

this first range will include special pocket-padded versions of quinze & milan design classics ‘club sofa 01′ and ‘primary pouf 02′. various pockets are incorporated onto the seats and provide storage for your books, magazines, reading glasses, laptop, ipod, headset, remote control etc.

both pieces will be produced in exclusively numbered limited series and will be presented during milan design week 2010.”

After having previewed the black colorway the other day, we can show you the complete range of colors of the new Eastpak x Mackdaddy “Mack” Backpacks today. The studded backpack also comes in pink and turquoise for Spring 2010 and is now available from eproze.

Studs have been a recurring theme with all the big Japanese street labels (and in many other places) this season. Hip-hop oriented brand Mackdaddy is no exception. Teaming with Eastpak they present a black canvas backpack with a healthy dose of studs, alongside woven labels from each brand. Available March 12th at Mackdaddy retailers in Japan.

Eastpak has joined forces with Japanese brand Mackdaddy on the Mack Woodstock backpack. The backpack comes in three colorways, featuring a nylon upper and suede bottom. Mackdaddy added a large print on the front of the backpack.

After Eastpak recently worked with Rick Owens, we get a first look at their upcoming collaboration with fashion designer Christopher Shannon. The designer worked with grey/white and acqua tones on the collection and also seems to have used quite some patent leather in his creations. Hopefully we can give you a more detailed look very soon. Eastpak worked together with Silas on the Captive Backpack. The backpack comes in a blue/black striped colorway with beige suede bottom. The suede part also feaures a large embossed Silas logo.

This season Eastpak unveils its most innovative collaboration to date in collaboration with Paris based Californian native Rick Owens via his denim label, DRKSHDW. This is the first official co-brand Rick Owens has taken with any of his lines.

The DRKSHDW Eastpak collection delivers a choice of bags, accessories and capes with clean, crisp silhouettes that are finished to a worn, luxe-life perfection.

The range delivers 11 styles of top coated nylon, dry stonewash finished, made using a revolutionary welding technique in a choice of three colourways taken from the DRKSHDW palette; Dark Shadow (black), Dust ( a soft, warm grey) and Pearl ( a light ‘optimistic’ tone).

This collection is truly unique and innovative; pieces have been produced without traditional sewn stitching and use a revolutionary welding technique that gives a distinct streamlined look. All items have been dry stone washed to give a naturally worn-in texture and each item in the line is accessorised with a DRKSHDW lanyard and coin purse.

First pieces of the collection are now available from Oki-Ni.

Some more interesting product is coming from the soon to be released Stussy x REAS collaboration collection. Stussy also teamed up with Eastpak on their iconic backpack. Todd James aka REAS added his graphics and characters to the entire backpack. Look out for a release soon at Stussy stores around the globe.
