Initially produced for his Tokyo exhibition, we can give you a good look at the collaborative t-shirt by artists Eric Elms and Kaws today. Eric Elms’ Kilroy character meets the Companion character by Kaws for the tee. Surprisingly, the t-shirt is not produced under the Original Fake brand, but rather specifically for the exhibition and is also branded as such.

Eric Elms recently wrapped his solo exhibition at Tokyo’s COMMON gallery. The installation, “Wish You Were Here,” featured the graphic designer’s Kilroy character juxtaposed with a litany of iconic logos and trademarks. Check out the collection of tees and hoodies below. Available now at Stussy.

Stussy Japan, in conjunction with Vans OTW, will be putting on an exhibition featuring works by Eric Elms. The event is set to go down at Common in Tokyo, Japan this Thursday, October 20th. As you can see here, Elms’ classic “Kilroy” character looks to play a heavily involved roll in the show. A couple of tees appear to be available as well including a “Killroy World Tour” and “Killroy Rasta Dot” graphic tee. The event kicks off at 7pm and will go until 10. Be sure to check it out.

On October 20th, Common Gallery in Tokyo will be opening the new Eric Elms ‘Wish You Were Here’ exhibition. The New York artist put his character Kilroy at the center of the exhibition, and thus it comes with no surprise that he also appears on the collaborative t-shirt that Elms and fellow New York artist Kaws have worked on. Kilroy meets the Companion character by Kaws on the t-shirt. The tee will be released at the opening of the exhibition in Tokyo.

New York-based artist Eric Elms has teamed up with JanSport to create this unique bag for his upcoming exhibit in Tokyo from October 20 to 30, 2011. Kilroy hits the Gucci stripe off proper.

Vans OTW and Mr. Cartoon proudly present the Art of Lettering, a limited edition book featuring Cartoon’s personal photography, published by Eric Elms/And Press. The first in a series of forthcoming projects from Vans OTW advocates including Cartoon, Elms, Dimitri Coste and The Blackouts, the book was created in conjunction with Mr. Cartoons “Art of Lettering” seminar held in Los Angeles this summer. The seminar featured Cartoon discussing how lettering has impacted his life – from graffiti art to vintage sign painting and modern day low rider script as well as illustration airbrushing and his concepts of tattooing. The limited run of 818 books are available at select OTW retailers worldwide.

As first seen in the video yesterday, Vans OTW Advocate Eric Elms teamed up with the Vans design crew to customize the OTW Bedford. Eric’s Bedford colorway uses black British Millerain (TM) waxed coated fabric upper, metal accents, tonal embossed leather tongue labeling personalized with an Elms exterior flag tag detail and footbed graphic. The Eric Elms x Vans OTW Bedford starts shipping 8/1 to select Vans OTW accounts.

Today we get a first look at the upcoming collaboration between Vans OTW and artist/designer Eric Elms. He worked on the Vans OTW Bedford mid top sneaker, seen here above in the video.

This weekend La Gaîté Lyrique opened the first event of their skate sculture series – Public Domaine. The exhibition included works by Neckface, Eric Elms, Sade Coy, Michael Burnett and others. Furthermore they will be presenting live music acts (including Dinosaur Jr, Tommy Guerrero, Mix Master Mike, Ray Barbee, McRad, Lords of The Underground, Boys Noize, Antipop Consortium, Busy P), a skateboarding day and other great events around the topic of skateboarding. The Public Domaine Exhibition and events will go until August 7th.
