Eric Elms stays busy these days. Not long ago we reported about his solo show at Colette in Paris, as well as some collaborative t-shirts with Stussy. Now the artist/designer created an installation for Nike Sportswear. It is opening on July 30th at 255 Elizabeth Street (the iD Studio used to be there). Via Kaws.

Our friends from BKRW sat down with artist/designer Eric Elms during his stay in Paris, for his exhibition at Colette. They talked about how the exhibition came together and in general about Eric’s inspirations, style and life. Watch it here below.

For his exhibition at Colette, "Do you think about me as much I think about you", that we reported about earlier, artist Eric Elms has created a series of t-shirts. The t-shirts come in white, all featuring black washed out prints, two also coming with photo prints. Overall the t-shirt series consists of 4 t-shirts.
All 4 are now available at Sold Out, along with the tote bag that Silly Thing from Hong Kong created especially for the exhibition. T-Shirts go for 45 Euros and the tote bag for 80 Euros.

American artist Eric Elms presents 2 new magazines. “Do You Think About Me As Much As I Think About You?” is printed on the occasion of his current exhibition at Colette in Paris. It is printed in an edition of 100.
“Famous People With Monkeys!!!” also comes in an edition of 100. Both magazines are now available at the Colette online store and each go for a moderate 10 Euros.

For the upcoming Eric Elms exhibition at Colette, Silly Thing’s sub-label Chapel Of Dawn has produced a canvas tote bag. The bag comes with lots of high quality prints and references both Colette and Eric Elms. Pic via TK.

Just like Brent Collins, artist Eric Elms also contributed three t-shirt designs to the Stussy Spring/Summer 2008 collection. All three are now available in multiple colorways at Stussy Direct.

Soon Colette will be hosting an exhibition of the works of Eric Elms. The artist and designer has worked with many companies in the past years including Supreme, Stussy, Undefeated and others.
Here we give you a preview of what his soon to open exhibition will be showing. Overall the exhibition is showcasing works that inspired him to do his commercial works. The exhibition opens May 5th and will run until May 31rst.

The new Stussy Spring 2008 collection has now also arrived at Sold Out. Among the pieces they received they also got in a collaboration t-shirt with Eric Elms, who’s work has formerly been seen in Supreme and Undefeated collections.

The Silly Thing “Chapel Of Dawn” collection has finally been released. IT consists of t-shirts and canvas bags, designed by Silly Thing, James Jarvis and also designer/artist Eric Elms. Of course the “Wrestling Elves” toy is also part of the line, as well as the CD box set. The entire line is now available for purchase at Sold Out.

Last week we revealed the first artist that Patta worked for their special sweater project “3 the Hard Way, Triple Threat, Patta Reworked”. It’s time to reveal the second artist in this project, next up is Eric Elms.

Eric Elms is a New York based artist and designer. He started working as head designer at Supreme when he was 21 and has gone on to work for companies such as Nike, Panasonic, Wieden+Kennedy, HUGE Magazine, Stussy, OBEY, Ssur, aNYthing, among others. As an artist he has had solo exhibitions and has contributed to shows in NYC, Japan, Australia and all across Europe. He currently runs a studio in Brooklyn, NY where he hopes to continue to produce work that makes people smile and think.

Eric created two designs for this project: the “Patta Gang” and the “Line Stack”.

The Patta x Eric Elms sweaters all feature heavy duty fleece, thermal linings, underarm ventilation eyelets, side slit pockets and will be available in-store only at Patta on Saturday December 1st and Alife Rivington Club (New York) (date TBA). Be on the lookout for the final artist to be announced next week!
