Etnies Plus has a solid line-up of footwear ready for Fall 2009. Compared to previous seasons, the new offering is definitely a little bit more subtle and toned down. The collection consists of the RSS, RVM High Top and the Jameson. Each sneaker comes in two colorways and features premium leathers and details.

etnies Plus sent over some official images of their upcoming collaboration with seminal LA-based streetwear label Freshjive. The simple Junior mid-top sneaker was revamped in tonal black with two material choices – leather or canvas. Branding is kept to a minimum with a small Freshjive tag on the tongue. A release party takes place on Saturday, August 29th at Reserve. The photography of Herman Leonard will be on display at the release, accompanied by a performance by Joey Altruda and his Cocktail Crew.

We bring you another highlight from the Outerspace show in Barcelona. At the Etnies booth we came across this upcoming collaborative pack of sneakers between Etnies Plus and Rebel Skate. The two brands worked on two sneakers, a high top and a low top, both coming in black/white with the Rebel Skate logo plastered all-over, either in the form of print or embossed. Furthermore details are placed on the inner sole, as well as on the tongue and mid-sole. Look out for a release Spring/Summer 2010.

A couple of days ago we gave you a first look at the LTD x Etnies Plus Weldon sneaker, which was created in collaboration with Invisible NYC. Yesterday LTD celebrated the release of their new André issue and of course also the Invisible Warrior sneaker.

After recently releasing a collaborative watch with Nooka, and putting out their newest issue with artwork by André, LTD Mag is at it again and now worked with Etnies Plus on a sneaker coop.

The Etnies Plus x LTD Mag Weldon sneaker comes with a black/grey camo pattern on the upper, which has been printed on a layer of reflective material. The premium leather and patent leather are a nice finish. Limited to only 300 pairs worldwide, the sneaker will be released at premium boutiques on March 15th.

After recently presenting you the Etnies Plus x Disney Spring 2009 collaboration, we give you a look today at the Tribute Plus, a high top sneaker in the Spring 2009 line-up. It comes in overall four colorways and features a large lace overlay velcro strap. Via Rad Collector.

As part of their Spring 2009 collection, Etnies Plus has worked with Disney on the Co:Lab collection, a series of sneakers, decorated with some of your favorite characters. Here we give you a look at the Upsetter out of the collaboration, which comes in two colorways. The Upsetter features the Evil Lord and Mickey Mouse characters, embossed into the heel of the shoe.

It looks like this will be a solid collaboration. Usually when we here about these, we do not expect too much, because how good can a sneaker with printed, colorful cartoon characters be? Etnies Plus found a more subtle solution to the task.

When it comes to the dressed up sneaker, simplicity makes all the difference. Allowing material to shine, a slim silhouette with minimal branding is the proper base. Etnies Plus hits one and a half of these points with their “Buster” model. The shoe is built of supple leather with nubuck accents. Brown meets a tan nubuck in the more successful colorway, while a green finds way to the quarter and ankle on the black. The brown is limited to 211 pairs, while black will be a little harder to find, at 137.

Both are now available from Overkill.

Manchester’s Oi Polloi, working with Etnies Plus, has devised four styles of footwear hedged on subtle details. All feature the Oi Polloi Magpie motif. As with each Etnies Plus release each pair is individually numbered. 
Some more words on the collaboration:
"The shoes maketh the man is what we were told when we were growing up, which must have had some kind of impact, as we’ve been left mentally scarred with what can only be described as a slightly fanatical obsession with shoes," said Steve Sanderson, Co-founder of Oi Polloi.  "One day we were talking to the nice chaps at etnies about the merits of geography teacher shoes, and how we were keen to make some shoes of our own. Not long after, the wheels were in motion, and as if by magic, the etnies Plus Oi Polloi Collaboration was created!"

In 1999 Jason Dill and Mike Piscitelli founded Fucking Awesome. It was their inside joke about the world of "streetwear" and the result was a line of pretty recognizable tees and sweats. The early designs were hand printed by the duo, and the now familiar "Fucking Awesome" print was born. Now, the boys meet with Etnies Plus to release a sweet sneaker. Set for Fall ‘08 the Fucking Awesome logo hits lovely on the heel of the black based hi-top. Images have been circulating for months, and its great to now know when we can expect them!
